Our modern farmhouse with vintage barns are nestled within 18 acres of towering pines is the perfect backdrop for your wedding, retreat, family stay, or private event. The property is the perfect mix of elegant style in a rustic setting that creates a one-of-a-kind experience. Enjoy a secluded up north feel that’s close enough to everything you love about Wisconsin.
When you’re here you’ll experience a beautiful old growth tree farm, 30 minutes north of Milwaukee. It’s just far enough to connect with nature and see the stars, but close enough to everything you love about Wisconsin.
The house has 2 wings, this is listing is for the main house or East Wing and has plenty of space for all your guests. It has an open floor plan kitchen so whether you’re doing the cooking or the one watching the game, you can be fully immersed in quality time with your friends and family. Warm up by the fireplace, head out for a hike on our walking paths, or just simply be. No matter what the season or reason you’re staying, there’s plenty for everyone to enjoy. *please note, the sunroom as shown on the floorplan in the photo gallery is under construction this spring and is not currently available for use.
In The Summer Months
This property has up north feels. It is surrounded by 60 foot pines and around the corner from pristine nature preserves and bike trails. We are just a few miles down the road from Lake Michigan, the beach, and the harbor town of Port Washington where you can rent a fishing boat or surf the waves on a windy day. You can also golf at the many nearby world class golf clubs. We are next to the beautiful town of Cedarburg that is a destination in itself. It is a lovely collection of old stone shops and restaurants on the river that will enchant with live music and popular festivals all year long. In our gardens you will find a medley of flowers and vegetables and often our beloved chickens.
In The Winter Months
Winter here is a magical wonderland. Enjoy our 3 wood burning fireplaces and bring your snowmobile, sleds, skies and warm mittens. We are very close to Sunburst ski and tubing hill. There are winter celebrations all around the area and on select Friday nights until Christmas- Downtown Cedarburg lines the streets with lanterns and welcome all to Santa’s workshop. January's winter festival hosts ice skating on the river, and bed sled races that are not to be missed.
Come, wander our forests, explore the barns, the log cabin, and play in the wildflower field. Everyone is welcome here.

Summary: From exposed carpet tac strip to muddy entrance, we did not feel that the host exhibited the necessary attention to detail that is expected when renting to guests. We visited the location on March 12th to review it's condition and found it acceptable. When we arrived on April 25th outside entry lights were not functional, nails were discovered in the parking area, carpet had been removed but stripping remained, Rooms were not cleaned to remove bugs, the refrigerator was not clean and to top it off we were shortened one room that was to be used as a sleeping space. It was available on our March walk through, but was being used for construction debris and was not available for sleeping by our group. This caused one guest to use cushions on the floor for sleeping. This was after notification the day prior to our arrival that we would be having one guest less that originally scheduled.We arrived at 10pm allowing the host ample time to correct some of the concerns. Attention to detail is a priority and is normally customary when renting VRBO properties,

Summary: We hosted a group of girls for a winter getaway at this property and had the best time. Plenty of room to spread out, the kitchen had everything we needed, and everything was clean and well-appointed. Communication with the owner was quick and easy—we had no issues the whole weekend. The property is beautiful and, while it was too cold for us to really enjoy it fully, everyone raved about how cute it is. Definitely recommend this for a quiet weekend getaway with a group!

Summary: This beautiful home and property was spacious and clean. House was enormous with a Hugh Kitchen. We had so much room to do our Ugly Sweater contest, serve prepared meals and enough bedrooms for everyone to sleep in. The owner started a fire for us In the 4 Seasons room. The owners kept us informed and was easy to contact if we needed anything. We would highly recommend. Thank you to the wonderful owners!! Happy Thanksgiving 🦃

Summary: We popped up from Chicago to enjoy the wide open space, a little peace and quiet and ended up more relaxed than we'd been in months...we walked the property, relaxed by the fire when it rained, and sat in the sun and read. This sublime retreat is clean, peaceful, updated and warm, as is the hospitality. And the organic eggs - a complete bonus! We popped into Grafton and Port Washington, too. This was just what we needed...THANKS!

Summary: This place was exactly as described. Stayed for a small girls weekend getaway. Close to shopping in Downtown Cedarburg. Very elloquantly decorated with a mix of modern farmhouse style and beautiful antique pieces to make this place very charmful and right out of a Magnolia magazine! So much character and very comfortable stay. Hosts were super friendly, with great communication and was there to assist us, with questions or needs. This place is a perfect setting for an intimate country wedding complete with an onsite barn for a reception. I would give this place 6 stars if I could! Would stay again!

Summary: Its a beautiful home and grounds! We immediately felt comfortable. At one point i dropped my earring and it rolled under a dresser. I reached my arm under to grab it and pulled out a clean earring! No dust bunnies at all. This place is cleaner than my house. All the after hours help was much appreciate W&K
