Positive: I rarely write reviews, but when something is really out of the ordinary, I do. THE STAFF WAS REALLY HELPFUL. They are quick to respond when you want help. They also speak very good English.

Positive: Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Facilities were clean and well thought out. Meals were really of high quality / restaurant worthy. Staff were attentive, helpful, responsive and friendly.
Negative: Beds could be firmer, but I could live with it.

Positive: One of the best retreat from the middle of Japan’s city life. Lots of people brought their pets and families as well. The place was quite cozy with the nice lodging like interior.
Negative: Driving to this place was quite a challenge with the ultra narrow paths.

Positive: The 2nd floor balcony was really nice in the morning, even in July it’s just around 19°C which is very comfortable and also dogs are allowed.
Negative: The route is narrow on some part, and no light at all which might be a bit troublesome.
Summary: Nice stay on top of the mountain.

Positive: Talk about Ski in Ski out!! I didn't actually realise when I booked, that this is completely on mountain accommodation. Absolutely outstanding. Room was clean and comfortable, staff were absolutely great. Very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast in the mornings had a great selection to fuel up for the slopes and I thought other meals were tasty and great value for money. Catch the Ropeway and get picked up in a snowmobile.. how many places can you stay that do that!!
Negative: Just a heads up for my fellow gaijin. Brush up on your Japanese bath house etiquette before you stay. It was great but I made a few mistakes that made me feel a little bit silly.
