Summary: The fact that you can check in at anytime is wonderful when you have a long journey to make. Yes the place could do with a refresh but it’s great great value.

Summary: This a lodge off the beaten path. Gorgeous drive. It’s quiet & secluded. There are restaurants approx 16 mins north. If you need WiFi or lively entertainment, maybe not for you. It’s quaint & cozy. A place to relax & take in the area. The views & scenery is amazing.

Summary: I dont know difficult it is but wifi would be a help as tv not available. I didnt look for one but a hot plate to cook basic would be nice. I appreciate there is a microwave

Summary: Great location for a stopover on the Great North Trail. However there are no amenities in Forsinard except the local tea shop which closes at 4pm. Because the hotel is completely unmanned prior planning is essential if you don't have transport or have prepared beforehand.
