Negative: At the time of booking I asked for a room on a higher floor with total side view of the ocean, and this didn't happen...they put me on the even side of the hotel overlooking the wall of another building and with only a small piece of sea view, while the odd side was all clear to the sea. I was celebrating my husband's birthday and it was our first time at the hotel. I was never offered an upgrade as well.

Positive: The room was absolutely breathtaking and super spacious. I upgraded to Executive Suite for the extra space. It had a little living room with an extra TV. Everything was light and airy and decorated with exquisite taste. The balcony wrapped around the room. It was a magnificent room. The hotel itself is located on a gorgeous beach, right outside of a fabulous pool area.
Negative: What was shocking and I complained about was that for some reason incomprehensible to me, there was a connecting door from our Executive Suite to the next room. Both doors were locked, but neither touched the floor. The space between the door and carpeting allowed noise to pass freely. I was awoken one morning at 6:15 when the neighbors turned on their lights and immediately started laughing. I complained in reception. They apologized and assured me that no-one would be occupying the room between their departure that morning and ours two days later. That night, however, there were more loud people in the room. Reception again apologized, said there had been a confusion or miscommunication between colleagues and eliminated the resort fee for the day. Obviously, I would have preferred silence. The daily parking fee of $44 plus tax and then expected tip each time you get your car I thought was crazy expensive.
Summary: Beautiful hotel. Not sure if it was worth it.
