Positive: Fosshotel Husavik was lovely! The staff were above and beyond. We arrived after a drive, and an afternoon of whale watching (amazing) to find our room had been upgraded for free! Our room was spacious, clean and well designed. Husavik is a wonderful place to enjoy on any trip to Iceland! Fosshotel is the perfect base for your adventures, whale watching, GeoSea Thermal baths, etc.
Negative: This hotel is lovely so this is not a complaint so much as a note - this hotelis starting to show signs over wear and tear. Our room was lovely, but hallways and common spaces, especially carpets, could use updating.
Summary: Incredible staff, great location, comfortable stay.

Positive: Convenient location just a few minutes walk to the harbour. Room was spacious and had tea/ coffee making facilities. Bed comfortable with lovely fresh linen.
Negative: The bathroom was a little small.

Positive: Location, size of the room is OK.
Negative: Awful old shabby design, windows cannot be opened, dirty carpets, poor breakfast, very uncosy. Meant for huge groups, where nobody asks.... 2 stars.
Summary: Not recommended. Very shabby unanimous hotel as if no one cares...
