Positive: Clean, cosy and comfortable. Great location for what we needed and worked really well.

Negative: It was hard to tidy up properly on departure. There was a brush but no dustpan and the vacuum cleaner did not have any suction. Also couldn't find the controller for the fire (but the central heating was very effective).

Negative: Downstairs is not very sound proofed from the upstairs apartment Apartment very cold when we arrived (14 degrees). Took a while to heat up. Would have been nice if heating had been on anticipating our arrival

Positive: Everything, very comfortable and well appointed. Well heated, beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you would need to fully self cater Lots of useful information about the Lake District, there was a cupboard full of games, books to read, internet was very good. Loved the addition of the electric log fire

Negative: Just a suggestion- a non slip mat for the bath as it was very slippery while using the shower or a grab rail

Summary: Exceeded expectations, excellent value for the very reasonable price
