Here at Twin Valley Horse Ranch you can enjoy the adventure of mountain living and the peacefulness of the mountains. Avoid the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse yourself in good 'ole fashion country fun! The ranch is built mostly of trees we logged from our mountains giving it the western/rustic feel of days gone by. Cabin is made from round logs and is cozy with trees all around. Includes private bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, heat/air and private cookout area. Meals are not included and must bring own bath towels and sheets ( one full bed, two twin beds, 2 futons.) .
Step out of your cabin and hike our many trails, relax on the swing listening to the night sounds and enjoying the stars, hike to the outdoor chapel ,letting the creative juices flow, walk to the barn and help with morning/evening chores. The spring fed pond is great for fishing/swimming, cooking out and roasting marshmallows around the campfire ( plenty of wood to gather) Pavilion includes table/chairs.
Help feed and care for the petting animals which include donkey, fainting goats, 2 mini horses,kittens, horses, pot belly pig, rabbits........ride in the back of the pickup with the feed, hay, dog and children and make the rounds! I encourage all the 'hands on time' you can stand!
We also offer specialized Horsemanship clinics, learning the basics of safety around horses, handling of horses, Haltering/ Leading /Grooming/Saddling and Riding instruction. 125.00 per person plus taxes.
Sign up for our MINI HORSE Orientation Class. After class, you will be qualifies to halter, lead, groom the mini horses at any time. Children must have parent present.
You would even be able to take the mini horses on the hiking trails! 75.00 for group up to 4 people

Summary: We planned a last minute stay at this property. My daughter had a gymnastics competition in a nearby city and we didn’t want to stay in a hotel. On a whim, we selected this property. We had no idea how perfect that selection would become. Janice is by far the most hospitable and accommodating host that we have ever had using VRBO. She has a way of welcoming her guests just like they were family. The cabin we stayed in (Luke’s Cabin) was perfect in ways we didn’t expect. It was so comfortable and we always had guests to open the door and say hi to. Ranger and Indigo came to greet us and Indigo stayed for snuggles and belly rubs. Jadyn was absolutely fantastic teaching my girls (18 and 9) about the Minis and how to care for them. In fact, feeding all of the animals and having the ability to interact with them made it a tearful goodbye for my youngest. There is so much love emanating from this property that you can’t help but feel at home. You can breathe that sigh of relief as soon as you open the gate, and you can forget about the world during your stay. It’s all peace and quiet with the exception of chatter from the animals. A perfectly wonderful experience that we hope to return to soon!!

Summary: We didn’t get to stay long. But the area was very nice as was the cabin we stayed in. Got to meet the owner briefly and she was very nice. Very good experience. Enjoyed it. Hope we can stay longer next time. Never can get enough of the Smokies.

Summary: My husband and I stayed for a weekend in Luke’s Cabin after attending an energy seminar in Knoxville the prior week. What a wonderful escape from the outside world! We wandered around petting animals and taking a hike around the property the first afternoon we arrived. We found some fast friends very quickly. The goats, pig and cats followed us around. They were all so cute! Unfortunately we didn’t have an opportunity to attend the feedings or ride horses as we had some long hikes in the park already planned. We did however hike up to the outdoor chapel first thing Sunday morning and it was spectacular! Janice could not have been a better host. From the first communication when inquiring about the property to every time we saw her while we were there, she was so friendly and welcoming to us. We will definitely recommend her property to friends and we will stay there anytime we come back to this area.

Summary: We absolutely loved our stay. The owner is so nice and gives you full run of the property. It was so beautiful. Our cabin was to itself and was beautiful inside and out. I couldn't of been more impressed with the property or its owner. Hope to go back in near future. Exactly as described but better.
