Summary: Like the title states, this is a nice house in a great location. The only reason that this is not a 5 star review is that certain disclosures were not made clear in the description of the property. Specifically: 1. That the owner lives on site in the lower level of the split-level. 2. That there are exterior cameras all over the place. 3. That there is an alarm system that tells her every time you open an exterior door or window. Again, nice house, great location, and Leslie is a gracious host; however, we never would have rented it had we known we would not have the level of privacy we are used to at past Vrbo locations.

Summary: Our family have stayed in many property’s but we where all super impressed with the property, Leslie the host is amazing and super helpful and the little touches around the property to make your stay more comfortable are appreciated The home is immaculately clean with a great pool and there is a stack of restaurants and bars within a short walk This was perfect for us to relax for a week and we wouldn’t hesitate in booking again with Leslie They have this house set up so you feel like your visiting your own holiday home Thanks Leslie and look forward to seeing you next time 😀

Summary: Stayed here for almost three week. It was immaculate and the host was very friendly and accommodating. It had everything you could think of. Nice canal view and huge deck and pool downstairs with a bar and a pool table.

Summary: This place is amazing. The property is even better in real life than in the pictures. As this is Leslie's home (she moves out when you are there) the quality of everything - sheets, linen, glasses, cooking equipment, furnishings is of a very high standard, unlike your typical holiday rental. The deck area with pool and pool table is perfect to relax and cool off with kids and teenagers, and the BBQ works perfectly. It was 33 degrees celsius while we were there and we were so glad that we had booked this rather than staying in Manhattan. You have easy access into Manhattan, just 40 minutes on the Long Island Rail Road, we came back at 11.30pm one night and there were still trains running. For your more chilled days both Long Beach and Jones Beach are 15-20 minutes away. On a weekend you can rent a kayak in the next street and paddle round the bay. We prefer not to drive on holiday so we used Uber to get around which worked out easier and cheaper than a car rental for us. It was $10 to the train station or supermarket, $25 to the beach. If you want to explore further afield on Long Island e.g. down to the Hamptons or Montauk then you would be better to rent a car. Leslie herself is the perfect host. She went out of her way to drive us around the area on Day 1 so that we knew where things were. She was always available if we needed help with anything or had questions, and she looked after our suitcases after checkout until we were ready to go to the airport.

Summary: Very pleasant property. Loved the deck the pool and the pool table for a couple of days before the rain started. The house was very clean and has a big kitchen. Cooked dinner for 8 and had plenty of space for everyone. Conveniently located, can walk to the Nautical Mile - lots of restaurants. Super easy communication with owner. We will be back!

Summary: Leslie is great. Wonderful place with great natural lighting and spacious well equipped kitchen. Loved having the deck and the canal. Perfect place to visit with family and go to Jones Beach and hop onto the LIRR and go to NYC. We were even able to kayak from the dock.
