Positive: Lovely view over the beach which was a short walk away. The restaurant was great but unfortunately one of the restaurants was closed when we were there. Enjoyed time in front of the awesome log fire.

Positive: An incredible location and amazing place to stay right in the national park. I was super lucky to be upgraded on my arrival and the room I stopped in overlooked Richardsons bay. It was stunning. The food served for breakfast and dinner at the bay was incredible and the staff go above and beyond to make your stay as perfect as it can be. Shout out to Sydney who made my dinner an incredible one with great recommendations and pairings.

Positive: Freycinet Lodge is a winner given its location right on the water and just inside the national park and it's construction. Unobtrusive cabins that nestle into the environment make you feel like you are living right in the woods - but in all the comfort of a lovely cabin. Bathrooms were spacious with a great shower and great hair/body products. Beds were very comfortable. The espresso coffee machines were an added bonus for me. And the "included" breakfast was delicious and plentiful!
Negative: Very small item - I kept getting lost walking back towards reception. Path was well signposted to get to your cabin...route back wasn't so clear.

Positive: The location of the hotel. The staff were friendly too.Breakfasts were good.
Negative: The location of our room. The room was comfortable but there was a seating area outside which was v unappealing and just looked on to scrub. Food in the restaurant was good but we had a ridiculously long wait to get our meal in the restaurant when we had dinner there on our second night….. 1.5 hours before the arrival of our main course. That really took the edge off the evening as we were hungry when we sat down.
Summary: A pleasant hotel but quite expensive for what it offered.
