Positive: Nice quiet property. It was a good size for the four of us. Basically the house had everything we needed. Easy in and out to park. Saw some wildlife.
Negative: The old stove/oven could used to be replaced. A lighter/matches was not provided to light the burners on the stove. The cookware pretty worn out…could use replacing. The kitchen chairs were a bit wobbly. The drain in the upstairs bathroom drained very slowly. In the attic bedroom, the bed is up against a slanted wall and just to lay down, we kept hitting our heads on the wall. A better alternative may be to move the bed under the window, where there was no slanted wall.

Positive: Location was good...luckily I rented a four wheel drive vehicle...without it, it could have been a problem
Negative: Liked the area...living room facilities would not work, TV, space heaters< etc... It seems there was no power/electrical outlets working in the living room area. I tried to call the "front desk" representative, got no response. had to call the corporate phone number for an answer. They of course could not help with this problem. Local rep was MIA.

Positive: Location was beautiful, saw several deer in the yard. House was clean, nice they had extra blanks for the cold nights, very peaceful and great view
Negative: Only reason we picked this location over others that were less pricey was the hot tub. Was called about 4 days before and was informed the owner didn’t want to spend the money on maintenance and repairs any more and was having it removed. When we got there what appeared to be a very nice tub was empty. I was promised a refund for the portion of the hot tub cleaning but none has been given, so far. Website and booking cite still list a private hot tub in the listing. Wondering how long the issue has been going on as a review from last year states hot tub issues, at least it sort of worked for them. Doubt I’ll use this or any other of the owners properties in the future as it stands.
Summary: While the stay was very nice, felt mislead on the listing and a promise that has not been fulfilled

Positive: Liked location and mountain view, liked hot tub, was clean home. Liked.seeing deer on property.
Negative: 1. Replace old water heater, didnt like cold showers, 2. Replace old washing machine, didnt like to wring out towels by hand. 3. Replace coffee maker, water didnt flow and had to improvise drip coffee.
