Summary: The Frimley Lodge is an older motel with limited facilities, eg. luggage had to be placed on the floor, one single worn out chair only The Frimley has a pool though. The motel is on a main road, there is some traffic noise . Otherwise not a bad place to stay !

Summary: I liked my stay at Frimley motel, it was relaxing. Room was nice, beds were comfortable. The extra fans provided in the rooms were wonderful as it was a very hot night. Only thing I would suggest would be information booklets in the rooms, for how to use tv, phone etc. also something to let us know that the pool is quiet deep. My kids got a bit of a fright when they couldn’t touch the bottom.

Summary: All Kids in a group loved pool. rooms were decent size, perfect location for doing most things in Hawkes Bay.

Summary: The manager was very obliging when we asked to check in early. Unfortunately we were located next to the pool and a group of people were having a bbq and drinking making noise till late. Then the guests staying on the other side of us were drinking and making alot of noise through to 5am. Needless to say we did not get any restful sleep and got up and left for our drive home at 7am

Summary: Reasonable price, clean, tidy, comfortable. Could use an upgrade in terms of shower head and towels. Would be nice if neighbours didn’t blast their music at 7am but otherwise good value
