This beautiful, new, design apartment is located in the heart of the town of Capaci, a very nice beach village near the city of Palermo. It is far few steps away from everything: bars, restaurants, pizzerias, bus stops to the most important cities of the island (far less than 200 metres); the fantastic 4 kilometers sandy beach of the Natural Reserve of Isola delle Femmine is far just 1300 metres.
It consists of 2 finely furnished double bedrooms, both with ensuite bathroom. Each bedroom is equipped with air conditioning and sat television, so that you can seeTV in your language if you want. The bathrooms are equipped with hair dryers and a lot of bath towels. The kitchen is also very well equipped for the needs of 4 people: dishwasher, boiler (for the afternoon tea) toaster, citrus squeezer and so on.
The kitchen has also a very nice balcony from which, by an outside stair case, you can reach the most beautiful point of the house: the panoramic 30 squared-meters solarium terrace with a breathtaking view of the sea from one side and our beautiful mountains from the other side. It is the perfect place for your breakfast or lunch or dinner and in general for your relax. It is divided into 2 areas: the living area and the dining area with table and chairs.
The apartment Graziano, totally restored, is the perfect place for those who want to have a beach and a cultural holiday at the same time. The beach of the town is without doubt one of the most beautiful one of the island, moreover the main motorway of the island, the A/29, is far just 3 minutes driving distance from the apartment, so that you can easily reach the most important places of Sicily in a little time from here: Palermo in 12 minutes, Cefalù in 40 minutes, Erice in one hour, Trapani in one hour, Catania in 2 hours and 30 minutes and so on!!

Summary: Stayed in Francesco’s apartment for three nights and we loved the experience. Francesco met us on the street, walked us to the apartment, gave us a complete tour and introduction and then walked us to a restaurant nearby so we could grab a bite to eat. The apartment is updated and well appointed and located in an area with coffee shops and some restaurants. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the Capaci train station. We loved sitting on the rooftop terrace and sharing coffee in the morning and drinks at night! We were always able to find street parking nearby. Would definitely stay again.

Summary: Accommodation: the apartment was immaculately clean. Great to have the sun terrace, pretty amazing views. Lovely welcome gifts from the host including some essentials in the fridge! Location is great, even with a 5 year old we could walk to the beach within 15/20 mins. Local shops, cafes, restaurants are a stone's throw away with more restaurants by the beach (highly recommend Cocorita for amazing seafood). Less than 10 minutes walk to the train station. Getting in and out of Palermo is super easy. Capaci: I won't lie, it's a strange place. Let me explain, it's not what I would call a tourist area which we really liked. It's very local, everyone seems to know each other so it can feel a bit intimidating but everyone was friendly. You can be relaxing on the beach one minute then walking through a busy school run the next. We went in October so out of season but blessed with the weather so spent a lot of time on the beach. The sea is really calm, clear and shallow so great for families. Beautiful views, unfortunately the actual beach was a bit dirty, lots of litter. Not much English is spoken (not that we expect that) but we got by with Google Translate! We found the locals friendly, especially the family who own the Minimarket shop just down from the apartment. Hosts: literally couldn't have been better! Great communication, had a slight issue with a light which was sorted really quickly and discreetly. They also arranged for us to get a lift back to the airport which was significantly cheaper than a taxi! Thank you for everything. Overall: we loved it!! Felt so at home in the apartment. Loved how close we were to everything. Definitely hop on the train to Palermo, and maybe stop at Sferracavallo which is really pretty and does excellent seafood!!

Summary: Having stayed here before, we knew what to expect: excellent service from accommodating hosts in an ideal location. Having already gone into a lot of detail in an earlier review (April 17-May 3, 2022), we now reiterate that this two-bedroom apartment is one of the best appointed places that we have stayed in. Family members who visited us for one week during our lengthy stay were equally impressed with this particular rental. For five weeks, this was our very comfortable home! Summary: Francesco’s house was a delight for us! As long-time VRBO users booking lengthy stays, we know what we need to live comfortably. The apartment is spotless, well-maintained, and well-appointed. Since we cook most of our own meals, the full kitchen contains practically everything one could want and more. You will not be disappointed in the stocked kitchen with combined living space, and the bedrooms and bathrooms are quite comfortable. The highlight of our stay was the roof terrace. It is very large, and we never got tired of the mountain and sea views - it’s quite magical in the evening watching the sunset! The location of Francesco’s place is centrally located, particularly important because we did not rent a car. We have traveled much of Sicily, and have chosen Capaci to be our home while here on the island for 2-3 months, twice a year. We love the community, the people, the beach, and frequent many of the local businesses. Acknowledging our intent to temporarily live in Capaci, a car is not necessary - we simply walk everywhere! Taking the train to Palermo is a treat too! While the apartment is very nice for short visits, it is extremely well-suited for longer stays. From our first correspondence with Romina to meeting Francesco, the service we have received is the best that we have experienced anywhere. They are both very friendly, accommodating, and personable; for every question or request we had, we received a timely response. Any issues that arose were dealt with efficiently and professionally. Francesco strives to - and greatly succeeds - to help guests feel at home, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks so much for everything, Francesco!

Summary: Fantastic apartment, amazing roof terrace, great host - lots of communication/late check-in was allowed and we were provided with some food/snacks in the apartment on arrival! Perfect stay, could not fault.

Summary: The apartment is exactly as advertised. On the third floor of an old property right in the centre of Capaci. The roof top terrace an added bonus. The beach in Capaci is fabulous, sandy and gently sloping into the sea - which is so clear. Would be a great beach for kids. Plenty of sun beds and parasols to rent ( €10 per day for a parasol and 2 sun beds from a beach front bar with toilets and showers). We struggled to find bars/ restaurants to eat in in the evenings - but this as we holidayed right at the end of the season, I’m sure this isn’t the case earlier in September. We travelled to Palermo by bus a couple of time’s, about 40 mins. There was a free bus to take you from the bus station to the historic centre. We did have problems getting the bus back as the driver might or might not stop at the bus stop- in the end we always went back to the bus station and got the return journey from there. Staff at the apartment really helpful, arranging airport transfers and pointing out bus stops, pizzeria etc. Capaci is a living town and not just about tourist so you see the genuine Sciliy.

Summary: The apartment itself was very efficient. It was a little warm so we had to buy a fan to move the air. The location is very quiet and you will find yourself immersed in the Sicilian lifestyle. The owner was very friendly and connected us with a beach and was unable to obtain us entrance and beach chairs and umbrella very thoughtful. Good location to get away from it all and enjoy the real Sicily without being to far from everything. I will recommend that you be in good health it was 3 flights up from the street with a narrow staircase compared to US standards. My husband has problems with his hip and knees and it was trying for him. The view from the roof top terrace was breathtaking but was very hot in August to be up there during the day but early morning and evening are wonderful.

Summary: We just came back last week from our vacation in Europe during which we spent 10 nights at Francesco's apartment. We had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and memorable and our hosts were happy to help with any question/issue we encountered. The spacious fully furnished patio is definitely a highlight of the unit. Would definitely recommend renting a car as it will make your life so much easier and allow you to move freely. We rarely had a problem finding a free parking spot in front of the building. Having a parking at the private beach, two loungers and an umbrella provided by the host was an amazing asset to have.
