Brand new inside and out, complete renovation and all new furnishings and linens as of Sept 2020. Equipped with state of the art heating and air system that allows personalized control of every room. Summary: For traveling to KC, This place was farther out than I originally wanted, but it was WELL worth the drive! It was clean, cute, comfy, well stocked with kitchen supplies, and PEACEFUL! If you prepare for the drive to a store or where you want to eat, you can enjoy truly relaxing.

Summary: We stayed in the cottage over the New Year to celebrate the holidays with family. It was very warm, clean, and cozy. It had all the things needed to hang out and cook and play games with family. She shower was amazing!....and the Christmas decorations and overall decor was so cozy and cheerful. We would definitely stay here again if we had the opportunity.

Summary: Our family enjoyed a quiet, relaxing and very comfortable vacation at Swafford Valley Creekside Cottage, located less than an hour from the Kansas City Airport and 30-45 minutes from the communities of Richmond, Lexington, Higginsville and Liberty. The home was impeccably clean and the yard was beautifully landscaped and mowed, perfect for exploring, playing corn hole, and watching sunrises and sunsets. We saw a deer, a racoon, a groundhog, a turkey, lightening bugs and snails, all of which fascinated the little boys. We highly recommend this comfortable home in its idyllic rural setting.
