Summary: We booked the property because we are traveling with our little dog and wanted some space for him to run free in the backyard. As we read about the road we asked about it and the owner said it was just done. We had something in the back of our minds, but decided to go for it. The road is dirty, steep, but you can manage. The property is worth the hard track - very clean, very nice inside, very pretty views and might be calm stay for people who like this kind of holidays. Its very close to Cala Nera where you can find nice supermarket and restaurants. Amazing beach near Afisos. But...we had trouble climbing this road. The construction was still ongoing and when 3 trucks are going up and down all the time it's not an easy drive, also you cant just sit and watch the views as you are always watched by drivers (poor guys). Another thing is - cats. We are big pet lovers, and finding nice little cats was delightful. Yeah, until they beat our dog and demanded food from us every time we pass. We ended buying them full meals, because we are not bad people. It would be nice if owner when adopting cats leaves some food for them as we found skeletons when we arrived. And last thing - there is no backyard, just some terrace space. No place for our dog to run, which is not very visible from the pictures and I would not have booked it if I knew. But if you like wild horses there are some running around the house. If road is done and cats are not hungry you will have enjoyable stay

Summary: The house is nice and the view is nice. Vangelis is very helpful as well. However, there is a serious problem of accessibility. The track leading to the house needs a 4WD car at least and is very narrow in some places. The locals are aware of that and there were very noisy road construction with trucks running from 7:30 am to 4 pm during our stay. The "fully detached" feeling was therefore not at all with us during our stay. The road works will continue at least all this Summer. This has clearly ruined our experience.

Summary: The house is perfect for a couple with 1/2 small kids or dogs which wants to get away from it all. The house is perfectly located if you don't go about a lot with the car but spend a lot of time in it. Otherwise you'll be better off if you sleep closer to the shore. The house is located high above the shore up a 2.5km of dirt road quite rough at places and very winding. It takes from 10-15 mins. I don't recommend it for sport cars. Another issue you might have is that there is no Internet at the house despite what the "Facilities" section specify. The fridge could also be a bit bigger. Apart from this everything was perfect: The host Vangelis is a very friends and helpful. He left for us so many things in the house, starting from ouzo and ending with some of his excellent apples. The house is clean and neat, all the amenities you might need are there. You could spend countless of hours on the veranda sipping wine and enjoying the view. The area around the house is perfect for walks and during our visit (first half of April) was in full blossom! We will come back for sure maybe even next year. Thanks again Vangelis.
