Summary: Great location on Metcalfe St near Napean, steps from grocery store Farm Boy. Building is renovated so clean. Pool and gym on 29th floor and nice sitting areas in various parts of the building. Staff was kind and attentive. Apartment was well equipped. Highly recommend.

Summary: As the first customer to The Met through VRBO, my experience was fantastic though with a few hiccups. About me and my booking: - I'm originally from Ottawa - I stayed (and tend to book for) 1 month - I look for remote-work friendly locations - I was their first booking through VRBO The great: - *Fantastic* location. You're close to some of the best things Ottawa has to offer, and conveniently across a great grocery store! - Apartment is very clean and well-equipped for longer stays. - Building amenities are great! Nice gym, lovely terrace to get work done / lounge. Didn't try the pool. - Building staff are very friendly and amenable! Could be better: - As I booked before they expected guests through VRBO, my check-in was bumpy (though staff were quick to help once realized). The check-in details do need to be updated on this posting. - This isn't a lived-in home, so may not have some kitchen appliances you might expect (e.g.: blender) - Expected some compensation given the mix-up / bumpiness of first two days (building staff was great though) - I booked expecting a desk (because of pictures) but didn't have one, so just double check with staff about specific accommodations Will add that The Met has a website of its own and issues I faced would no doubt be circumvented short-term going through them directly, until their VRBO posting is fleshed out. Would definitely stay here again in the future!
