This beautiful apartment (" Le Pied-à-Terre") has been recently renovated, combining period features with all modern conveniences. The high ceilings with the old, exposed wooden beams, the wooden floors and the black and white marble in the bathrooms make it truly magical, giving you a true Parisian feeling.
It is located between two courtyards, on the second floor of an 17th century house in the heart of the Marais, making it very quiet and even allowing you to sleep with open windows.
The apartment's layout and its size (75 square meter/800 square foot) will provide you with ample space to relax and to enjoy your own privacy. Ideally suited for two couples or a family with children, the two bedrooms sleep 4 guests comfortably. One bedroom has a four poster, king size bed, whilst the other has 2 single beds with unique bed-stands (all mattresses are new) . The finest Egyptian cotton linen has been chosen for your comfort and pleasure. Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms (one is en-suite and the second one is opposite the bedroom), equipped with 1940's style fittings, black and white Carrara marble floors and Parisian Metro tiles. There is also a separate toilet. High quality face, hand and bath towels are provided. Each bedroom has got a powerful avant-garde silent Dyson (AM08) air cooler.
The sitting room is very large and has a mock fire place with many candles, antiques, modern art, leather chairs and a designer sofa, dim-able lights - a perfect place to relax before or after exploring Paris. The chef's kitchen has been designed and equipped to enable you to cook a wonderful meal. It has a lovely, large white Carrara marble work area and faces the dining area which has a stunning 19th century wooden table which can sit up to six guests. A large Freud retro style fan is at your disposal.
Naturally Pied-à-Terre has modern independent heating in each room, including the bathrooms; free high speed wifi; flat screen TV, Netflix, Apple TV, DVD player, DVD library, books, BOSE docking station, washer drier, microwave, induction hob, traditional oven, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster and dishwasher You can make free landline phone calls to over 150 countries.
This property is located in the heart of the Marais, the most vibrant arrondissement of Paris, in walking distance from many attractions like the Centre Pompidou, the Picasso Museum, Place de Voges and even Notre Dame. The neighbourhood boosts many nice restaurants/brasseries, organic stores, patisseries and the flat is only 5-10 minutes walk away from the famous covered food market "Les Enfants Rouges" were you can buy organic fruit and vegetables, lovely fish and great French cheese.
The closest Metro station is Arts-et-Metiers 5 minutes away from Pied-a-Terre and buses and Velibs (bicycles that can be rented daily or weekly and are a great way to explore Paris) are close by. However, given Le Pied-à-Terre's central location you will most likely explore Paris on foot. The airports and the main train stations can easily be reached by public transport or by taxi and you will receive all information you need when you book the apartment. Summary: We had a great stay in this pied-à-terre in the heart of the Marais. My wife and I stayed for two weeks and had friends stay with us for six days. Since each of the two bedrooms has separate bathrooms we were quite comfortable when all four were present. We never felt crowded. The apartment is on an inside courtyard of an old thick-walled building off a lightly-used one-way street; it is VERY quiet. The black-out curtains also work well. The beds are very comfortable. While we did not cook formal dinners there was no reason we couldn't; the kitchen is well appointed with upgraded appliances. There's a modern laundromat about 100 ft down the street so we didn’t use the washer. The apartment is very conveniently located. A metro station is about a block away. There's a small well-stocked market about the same distance, a coffee shop with morning pastries next door, and a couple of excellent boulangeries very short walks. The manager, Fayçal, was extremely helpful both before and during our stay. He made sure we had everything we needed. A couple of things to be aware of: As mentioned, this is an old building, and the stairs are steep and narrow. It wasn't a problem for us (we're only 75) on a day-to-day basis, but getting our luggage up and down was an adventure. Fayçal did help us take the duffels up. The other thing is that the "master" bedroom can be quite dark, especially when the curtains were drawn. We found a flashlight helpful. We look forward to staying again!

Summary: This apartment is very charming and spacious for four. The location is terrific with many many shops and restaurants just steps out the door. Also walking distance to major attractions. Great communication with the owner and property manager. We would not hesitate to come back.

Summary: Started 4 nights and found the property perfect. Close to 2 Metro stops. Fully stocked with everything you could need. Wonderful beds and bathrooms. Spacious for our family of 4. Quiet interior apartment. There are 2 narrow flights of stairs you need to climb to reach the apartment. Nearby cafes, restaurants, and groceries.

Summary: My sister in law and I had a nice stay. The beds are comfortable and both bathrooms are clean. We did not expect the stairs to be as steep, fortunately Fayçal was there to help with our bags. They do not provide shower soap or other toiletries so bring your own. Very convenient to a butcher, bakery, cheese shop, fish monger and wine shop! The flat is good value for money! Thank you, Ivan and Fayçal.

Summary: Great 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment. Loved our stay and the location was perfect. Next time we are in Paris we will definitely try to stay there again. The apartment was quiet and had everything we needed. We highly recommend this apartment. One thing to mention is that the stairs are steep, which was not a problem for us, but an elderly person may have. Thank you for a great stay!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this spacious pied-a-terre in the Marias neighborhood. The apartment is in walking distance to many wonderful shops and Nortre Dame as well as a quick walk to the Metro. The street that the apartment is on has a Boulangerie, cheese shop, and butcher among other shops. The property manager met us immediately upon arrival and was available to answer and any and all questions during our stay. The apartment was very clean, spacious enough to comfortably fit four adults, beds were very comfortable and bathrooms were quite spacious for European standards. We loved our stay in Paris and highly recommend the Marais neighborhood!

Summary: The apartment is lovely and comfortable. Every detail has been well thought out. The kitchen is one of the best equipped I have ever experienced. Beds very comfy and very little noise. Location is perfect. And Fayçal the manager is the most attentive and thoughtful agent. He greeted us with champagne and dropped by a few hours later with a beautifully selected cheese plate. He greeted us upon arrival and carried luggage up the 2 flights. I also left an expensive watch behind which he found in time for us to make a quick detour back to apartment. I look forward to returning.
