Positive: Claudia, her son and the amenities in the room were superb! When Claudia found out we were traveling by train, she offered to pick us up and drive us to the guesthouse. The room itself is actually an entire apartment/flat complete with kitchen, laundry, living room as well as the bedroom. The only hesitation is that you are sharing the common areas with another guest. This is mitigated by the fact we never saw him and barely heard him at all.

Negative: Relative to the other places we’ve stayed in middle to southern Germany, this guesthouse is located a little further away from the main part of the town center (2-3 km). Had we stayed more than 1 night, we would have rented bikes or learned the bus/tram/S-bahn system, so this is more to our fault than the property’s.

Summary: Excellent 1 day layover on our journey to Bavaria/Southern Germany.
