An independent house in a walled garden. A very quiet area, 2 steps from the Meuse and the Nature but also Sedan (shops, restaurants, tourist office ....)
Loop Meuse, it is a cottage that allows you to stay at 2 steps from nature (Meuse, Greenway, hiking trails) and Belgium (Bouillon ...), 2 km from Sedan and its castle,, 20 km from Charleville Mézières (Ducale place, Rimbaud museum ...).
Very comfortable, in summer as in winter (south orientation, central heating ...). It allows to rest. (house of 160 m² and its garden of 350 m² fenced, totally yours, good distribution of rooms giving space.
The house consists of a ground floor with one bedroom (the Scandinavian bedroom) which has its own bathroom and toilet.
The other 2 bedrooms are on the 1st floor, with bathroom and toilet.
We prepare ourselves the rooms (beds, towels), allowing you to relax upon arrival.
User-friendly thanks to the lounge which has 2 large leather sofas, to its open and well equipped kitchen, overlooking the dining area with a bar. WIFI keeps you connected.
In the adjoining annex to the house has been arranged a games room on the ground floor (ping pong and elliptic bike). The 1st floor of the annex is not used.
The design style of its decoration and its fully enclosed garden of 350 sqm will delight you.
Well equipped, this cottage will allow you to relax and access to multiple activities with family and friends, in the cottage (ping pong, elliptical bike) and nearby (hiking, 3 bikes and fishing in the immediate vicinity of the House). At 100 meters from the house, passes the Greenway tarred towpath along the Meuse that allows bikes to get to Charleville Mézières and Sedan without difficulty (forbidden road to any motor vehicle). Possibility to rent extra bicycles.
A 3 km, you have restaurants, shops such as bakeries, butchers, caterers and supermarkets ... in Sedan.
Enjoy the quiet and comfort of this vacation rental located on the edge of town, near the Nature, 200 meters from the Greenway: WiFi, gym, good bedding, beds made upon arrival, 1 sheet bath per person available. At your request, you will have a baby equipment (umbrella 2 beds possible, bath, high chair). For children a little larger, a security barrier may be established on demand.

Summary: More than enough room for the two of us. Nicely furnished, and well-equipped. And really enjoyed the garden on those sunny days in the late afternoon/early evening. Loved the baguette automat down the street and the mobile butcher on Thursdays. Managed to see quite a bit of the Ardennes, and even some of Champagne in our short two-week stay.

Summary: My wife & I stayed here for a week whilst visiting the Champagne region & must say this property is lovely, located in a residential area but quiet and well located to allow us to visit this beautiful area. 40 min walk to Sedan. We went to Givet, Montherme, Rocroi, Fort de Sedan, Charleville-Mezieres. Great house, well equipped & the hosts Christine & Bernard are very helpful and friendly. Would recommend this to anyone wishing to visit the area.

Summary: The house was clean and spacious with most of the tools and services needed for a family (just lacked egg cups for our boiled eggs! Not a problem). Easy access to Sedan and an east drive to Bouillon which we enjoyed very much

Summary: We had a very nice stay in Glaire. We chose the area because we wanted to tour round the area. The property is very close to the canal with a walk/cycle way which takes you right into Sedan which takes about 30 minutes to walk.The property is spacious and well equipped. We also had very good weather during our stay.

Summary: Nicely positioned property close to the river meuse, ideal for walks and cycling. The property itself has been renovated to a high standard and is home from home. The 3 cycles were used regularly and the table tennis was a big plus for the children. As was the free wifi. Christine and Bernard were very welcoming and always on hand if needed. If you are looking for a peaceful location with beautiful scenery, I strongly recommend and we will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Summary: A very nice light, airy, comfortable and well equipped holiday home conveniently located for walking or cycling into Sedan or to the nearest supermarket (Intermarche). We found the croissants and bread at the bakery there to be excellent and the bakery opened ahead of the store at 7am! It was lovely to have such a well equipped house with very good quality bedding, crockery, cutlery etc and we made good use of the well maintained bicycles and the table tennis. The garden maybe lacked privacy although it was a very pleasant place to sit and despite there being houses all round, and the school opposite, it was quiet at all times. The garage is very narrow but we never had any problem parking outside the house, or if that space was taken we were able to park very close by. If we returned to this house we would probably take a radio for use in the kitchen. For a holiday home of this very high quality we were a little surprised to find there were no International TV channels available, only ordinary mainstream French. Christine and Bernard were there to welcome us and show us round the house and it was good to know they were always only a phone call or email away if there were any problems. (there weren`t!) It was also very useful having a supermarket within a 3 minute drive so that we were able to go out to get necessary basics such as milk, bread, butter, bottle of wine etc., none of which were there to start us off. I also bought two hand towels as I had misunderstood when reading that large bath towels were provided; they were, but I wrongly assumed there would also be hand towels. We found eating out in Sedan to be very good and especially enjoyed meals at Hotel Restaurant Le Saint-Michel,La Ronde des Sens, and L` Echiquier. Jacqueline`s Friterie was also excellent and worth the cycle ride into town! We also enjoyed several good coffees at the Central Bar. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here; it was comfortable, had an excellent hot water supply and everything was in excellent condition. We even had two weeks of good weather!
