Positive: Lovely position in quiet village; its location near Canigou was ideal and a one-day ascent is possible for the fit mountain walker. Parking was easy and local dining good (although restaurants were closed Monday and Tuesday when we visited in late June).

Negative: These are not 'dislikes' but information for others. We elected to take our own bedding, but didn't check sizes and found that the pillows were large and square, whilst our pillow cases were not - we made do with some small cushions. As we were partly self catering it would have been useful to have some mixing bowls available.

Summary: A glorious week of hot sunshine in a charming gite surrounded by woods and mountain crags.
