Gaffers cottage has been upgraded over the years and still retains many of the original features, character and charm with exposed beams, brickwork and wall ties.

Summary: We booked 4 cottages, all were clean and had everything we needed. We used the gashes room which was brilliant for the group being able to spend time together. Hosts were really accommodating and we all had a great time.

Summary: A wonderful beautiful cottage. Rented 4 cottages for all 26 family members for my partners 50th. Something for all ages to do on site and staff were very helpful with all of our needs. Would definitely stay again.

Summary: Our family of 10 adults & 5 small children had a fantastic stay at Gaffers Cottage over the Easter break. The place was clean & well-equipped with a brand new kitchen including a great range oven that was ideal for our large family meals. The children absolutely loved the play barn and we spent a lot of time in there as well as doing some lovely walks in the surrounding fields and wooded areas. It’s an ideal location close to Norwich & great for exploring the Norfolk Broads. We loved it so much we are returning next Easter. Thanks to the Spixworth Hall Cottages team for your hospitality & a wonderful stay.

Summary: Me and my family stayed at Gaffers to celebrate our mums birthday and we loved it. We’ve stayed at Spixworth cottages a few times before and we always love coming back. The games room is great for the kids, there’s amazing walks to take our dogs on and the house itself is just great and has everything you need. There is always someone on hand to help too if there is ever anything you need. We love it here and we’ll definitely be back.
