Welcome all mountain bikers! The Galbraith Getaway is a 4-bedroom 3 bath beautifully remodeled home located at the base of Galbraith Mt in Bellingham. Backyard trail access, bike cleaning station and access to the garage for safe storage of your bikes.
Fully equipped kitchen, BBQ, Wi-Fi and within 10 mins from downtown Bellingham, breweries, eats, shopping, hiking, waterfront and the freeway.
Living Space:
~Brand new kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the utensils to organic olive oil.
~TV is setup with Peacock which is a streaming service for many movies and shows.
~Desk for office space
~The bedrooms are designed with modern furnishings that will sleep 8 people and the three full bathrooms will accommodate a large party of guests comfortably.
~A playpen and highchair are available for guests with an infant.
~Extra amenities just in case you forget something. Everything from toothbrushes to bath salts and bubble bath.
~A beautiful fireplace where you can cozy up after a bike ride or come back from skiing on Mt. Baker. Firewood is not provided.

This home is perfect for mountain bikers. The Galbraith Mountain trails are right out the back door. A cleaning racks set up on the side of the house for easy cleaning and rinsing. The garage has bike stands and is perfect to store bikes and keep them locked up when not using them. There is also a very large first aid kit for accidents.

If you are a hiker, skier, snowboarder, runner, paddleboarder, kiteboarder, kayaker or anything in between you will find something amazing to do in or near Bellingham.

Summary: Our group ranged in age from 4-74 and upon arrival, everyone beamed with joy for the home, the back patio, the trails connecting to Galbraith Mountain, and the extensive stash of toys for kids of all ages. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals from scratch and, when the weather cooperated, we ate meals on the patio while being serenaded by song birds. The bed felt like sleeping on a cloud and we appreciated the cooling fans for a perfect night’s rest. We hope to return with more family in the future!

Summary: We stayed here since it was close to the venue of our son's wedding in Ferndale. His house is in Blaine. Both easy to get to from this location. Easy access to I-5 and close to shopping for anything. Very quiet neighborhood. The patio space is outstanding and fun space to visit with people. We used the gas grill multiple times. Out grandkids loved the forest behind and up the hill...they had great adventures exploring the forest. Great exercse for them!! We had everything we needed and the host was very responsive to our questions. It was a real blessing and joy to stay here.

Summary: The stay was wonderful and the property beautiful. We were surprised there was no garbage disposal and the light socket in the upstairs bathroom didn’t work but all else was fabulous. We had 3 siblings and an in law visiting another relative. All the amenities we could have wanted would recommend

Summary: Amazing experience, fully stocked house, owner is so thoughtful. First listing on VRBO where I never had to call hose for anything! Beautiful, clean, great communication (host checked up on us, but house was so perfect, I forgot to respond). Our 4 toddlers loved bunk beds and backyard short trail. Adults loved cleanliness and modern designs of house. Would stay there again and highly recommend. Great location, I think it was 10 min to downtown Bellingham? Close to everything. Thank you for the amazing experience.

Summary: We came here for our son's wedding. It was a perfect location, close to his house and close to the venue. We had a great time and the house was warm and welcoming. We really enjoyed the backyard with the fire pit. Everything was clean and ready for our arrival. Victoriya was very responsive with every communication and very quick to respond. Thank you for everything and we will certainly stay here again the next time we come to visit.
