Positive: We stayed for 2 nights here, the place is very unique, calm & cozy. We were able to spend those 2 days these and feel like just as our home the freedom, privacy & the service which was provides is excellent. I would must say, room is very spacious & has very unique vibe & all the facilities (hot water, hair dyer, good water supply, coffee & tea makers etc) the concept of this place is truly blends with the nature. And there is a great river view from the room balcony through the greens, which is actually very soothing and mind relaxing. Thanks to this place we were able to get some fresh air & feel the nature. Highly recommended for anyone who truly loves to spend their own time with nature & coziness & specially who loves to take a break from busy hectic day to day life. Moreover, the architecture of this place is phenomenal & every detail gives a natural & mind relaxing vibe, which is a bit hard to explain but which you must experience. Also, since this is located in moratuwa you don't need to go far to experience your leisure time with nature & as well as this place is very convenient from every aspect. ( there is a supermarket near to this, as well as only 5 min to moratuwa town)

Positive: The house staff is extremely courteous and helpful. In some other review the staff was described as unfriendly but this must have been somebody else because Mangala was very friendly and made the most amazing fruit platter for us at breakfast. The house has a very light footprint, with air flowing through from front to rear, a large veranda and the entire façade made up of sliding doors. The seamless transition from inside to outside is very pleasant.

Negative: There are only two minor things that could be improved: drinking water in glass instead of plastic bottles and as the property is on the water, some bottles and plastic bags get stuck in the water plants immediately beyond the garden. Those should be fished out. I would also try to make a larger gap between the trees facing the water so that you can enjoy the view more.

Positive: We are so happy that we selected this place for our honeymoon stay. it was a unforgettable amazing experience. it had an excellent tropical architecture designed by an award winning local architect without harming the natural context. the building had blended with the nature giving an calming and relaxing experience. Captured the views of the Lake, greenery vistas from inside the building almost forgetting that we are in proximity to city. it was so convenient to us that the location is close to main driveways to southern Sri Lanka which was a destination of our journey. We would highly recommend this place.
