Entire floor in cottage with a large, manicured garden that is 1 block from Golden Gate Park, and walking distance to some of the best restaurants in the city.
This private 1 bedroom is located on the ground floor of a quirky cottage. It has 2 main rooms + a bathroom and small laundry room. The bedroom has direct access to a bathroom and the large front yard. The second room is a large living space with a solid wood table for working and dining, as well as a double sized sofa bed.

The space
The space is charming and well furnished with a large wood table for working and dining in the living space. A sleeper coach for hanging out or hosting an additional person and many leather chairs and benches throughout.
There is a make-shift kitchen in the living room with an electric stove top, toaster oven, water boiler, Nespresso machine, refrigerator, an outdoor sink in the backyard and basic pots and pans (its not an actual kitchen).
The Wifi is great and the outdoor space is a dream :)

The neighborhood is quiet but centrally located. The place has its own private entrance. Parking is great in the neighborhood with 2 week parking allowed before needing to move it to a new spot.

Summary: Tucked away behind the privacy fence, the entryway leads through an herb garden in BBQ heaven. The space is clean & well lit, inviting with simple comforts. Mini fridge and a quick heating hot pot was all I needed kitchen-wise but if you want to cook a meal, look elsewhere. Great hot shower, comfortable bed and WiFi everywhere. Easy Uber pick up and plenty of dining options two blocks away on Geary. Definitely recommend and will try to stay again in future.

Summary: My fiance and I were in town for some concerts and this was a great location/home base. The host was extremely friendly and easy to work with-- including accommodating an earlier check-in. They even ran out for spare toilet paper when the roll ran out! The cottage is less private than we expected. The laundry area is shared with upstairs tenants and they accessed it a few times while we were there -- once we were caught unawares and once they called for permission-- but there is no lock between shared area and unit. You can also hear the upstairs tenants walking about and talking. It's a nice and quirky unit. The bed, shower and amenities were nice but it is musty and there were several spiders, as are to be expected in a ground unit.

Summary: We enjoyed this cozy space to rest and eat between long tourist outings. The bed is warm and so comfy! It’s convenient to a bus line, street parking was easy and the outdoor garden with heater was relaxing at night.

Summary: Fantastic location, really convenient corner store right next door. Giuliano responded quickly to our questions, and was very friendly. Make sure you are not planning on cooking, as there is no kitchen besides a mini fridge (but restaurants are plentiful and within walking distance). Also a great outdoor space, but it was unfortunately raining the majority of our trip!

Summary: My partner and I rented this space for OSL and it was an absolute dream. Such a great location with a cozy bed and beautiful garden out front. There was one minor hiccup during check in, which Giuliano was more than helpful with. (TIP: confirm the entry codes before check in, as Vrbo sent the old information and was not helpful throughout the process of fixing this.) Highly recommend this absolute gem of a place and host!!!

Summary: My daughter recently graduated from USF and lived 12 blocks from this location. I walked those 12 blocks daily and many more. So much to see and do within walking distance. Ocean Beach, Lands End, the Presidio, Golden Gate Park, Farmer's Market and so many restaurants to choose from all a walk away. The bedroom/bathroom were about all I used during my stay. The courtyard is as shown...very welcoming. I would stay here again. Rick

Summary: This is a great location. The location is very quiet and relaxing. It is not a busy location. We stayed at the property bc my daughter was participating in a dance summer intensive in San Fransisco. There are 2 bus lines that are very close to the location that gets you into the city. You do not need to transfer to get to market street on either of these 2 lines. Parking is not a struggle at all. You just need to look at the signs. Our stay was very relaxing and pretty seamless. We were able to use the washer and dryer. Guiliano and his partner have great communication and there were no issues there. On the second day, Guiliano provided great places to eat. Our stay overall was pretty comfortable and we would definitely stay here again without thinking twice. Thank you so much for a great stay!

Summary: The owner was incredibly helpful with a small check-in snafu. Despite being out-of-town, he immediately got help and solved the problem. He was very responsive. The apartment is clean and cheerful. The area feels very safe. We loved the location. At night, we could hear the fog horns in the distance. It's a short walk to both the Golden Gate Park with its museums and gardens, and the Presidio with its wonderful trails and views over the bay. There is a basic and friendly neighborhood store next door and many restaurants, coffee shops and bigger food stores a few blocks away. Street parking is easy. We were very happy with our VRBO choice.
