Welcome to the Garden Home Getaway, your serene retreat in the heart of Portland's Southwest Hills. Our space is designed for luxurious rest and relaxation, while still providing all of the functional and practical comforts of home. An ideal environment for couples and small families to make memories and have the perfect home base for adventurous excursions. We're here to help you curate your stay and find your own slice of Portland.
As soon as you step into our spacious and bright studio, you'll be greeted by a welcoming and thoughtfully designed space that's perfect for solo travelers, couples, or small families. The unit is fully detached from the main house with its own private parking, private pathways and two private outdoor seating areas, one of which is equipped for outdoor dining when the weather permits.
The bright and modern bathroom is equipped with a walk in shower, cabinet space, over-the-toilet storage, towel rack, space to air dry laundry and a full washer and dryer. Plush bath towels & hand towels, makeup towels, hair dryer and basic toiletries are provided.
The super-functional and well stocked kitchen allows guests plenty of room to prep, bake, and cook to your heart's content, as well as a new dishwasher for your convenience. Kitchen amenities include stove, glass cooktop, toaster, electric tea kettle, drip coffee pot, Nespresso Virtuo, mixing bowls, baking dishes, knives, cutlery, drinkware, wine glasses, coffee mugs, measuring cups and a wide array of dishware, serving ware and kitchen tools. Dish washing supplies are provided, as well as paper towels, napkins, and placemats. The galley kitchen gives way to a cozy dining nook set for 4 with beautiful natural light coming in from the window.
Steps lead down into the cozy sunken living room that features a plush sofa, wing back chairs, an ideal reading nook as well as a TV with Roku & streaming capabilities powered by high speed WiFi on your own private network. This area is perfect for a movie night, game night, or just a cozy spot to curl up and read your favorite books and magazines.
The lush king size bed has a cloud-like mattress cover, fresh linen bedding and spare pillows for your custom comfort. There are roomy storage options built in to the bed frame and USB charging outlets in the bedside lamps. For additional sleeping arrangements, the sofa pulls out into a full size bed, which linens and pillows are provided for in the closet as well as a memory foam mattress pad for added plushness. There are also spare duvet covers, blankets, and sheet sets in the closet if needed. All window coverings can be opened or closed in order to ensure slow & relaxing mornings if desired.

The cottage is situated on an oversized flag lot, tucked away in order to provide the ultimate serene experience. The unit is fully detached from our living quarters and you will have the indoor and outdoor space pictured entirely to yourself.
While we will be nearby on most occasions and we will always be more than happy to assist guests whenever needed, we prioritize your privacy and peace above all else. We keep to ourselves and provide a no-contact stay by default.
Feel free to explore our beautiful neighborhood and walk, drive or bike down our private drive whenever you please. However, we do request that you do not enter any gates on our property or areas that are not pictured in our listing :)
