Positive: Location and amenities were very good.
Negative: Couldn’t give a higher rating, because of the following…..The owners weren’t going to be home, so they sent a message the day before our arrival with detailed instructions. What they couldn’t have known is that we were completely ‘off the grid’ on an overnight cruise in Doubtful Sound (in such a case, probably should send the message several days in advance?). So we didn’t see the instructions before our arrival, and were greeted by nothing more than confusion and two barking dogs (who did quite a bit of barking while we were there). Fortunately their pet sitter happened to arrive and helped us (Thanks, Ella!). We couldn’t get the promised Netflix guest account to work, but were finally able to log in using our own home account. We also had to kill about 6 large spiders inside the property while we were there. And then, on our last morning the electricity went out, which meant no lights or hot water! So, in summary still a good place to stay…. Once they ‘get the bugs out’…

Positive: The property was set in a beautiful quiet location just 10 minutes from queenstown and we had access to the whole downstairs apartment. The hosts were amazing, so caring and attentive and this made the stay for us.
Negative: Nothing!
