Summary: It was one of the cleanest and well organized stay of any other hotel. Staff was wonderful and so very helpful suggesting restaurants and places to go and directions. I plan on staying on our next trip to Evansville at the very same place. Love it and would give this place 5 stars!!

Summary: We came to Evansville with our family for a reunion. We've stayed at Country Inn and suites in the past (not this one) and had good experiences. This one, though, was different. I knew that the property was being renovated, and was okay with dust and dirt that comes with that. But, what we experienced was beyond that kind of mess. Our room on the third floor was said to be completely done with renovations. What we found was a room that was cheaply put together and infested with ants. The window was opened a crack and couldn't be closed becaise it the frame was bent. I suspect the ants were entering there. Someone did come and "fix" the window so it closed, but we still saw ants. We were all looking forward to using the pool, but were met with a pool full of what we were told was a bad chemical mix. Looked to me like an oil spill happened. Oh, and I'd probably rate the breakfast choices as one of the worst I've seen. Stale cereal and flies in the bread bin. The only silver lining was the lady at the front desk who filled a bag of goodies after I told her that we had forgot our toiletries. I would not recommend this property.
