Welcome to Gateway House, a comfortable four-bedroom home with all-new furniture and appliances. Relax on the large deck or gather around the fire pit in the spacious hillside backyard. Check-in is a breeze with keypads located on both the front and back doors. Plus, there's a paved three-car driveway with an accessibility ramp for your convenience.
Inside, you'll find a fully-equipped kitchen with all the cooking supplies you need, as well as a brand new Weber propane grill located just outside the kitchen area. We provide grilling supplies too, so you can enjoy a cookout with family and friends.
For entertainment, we have Pac-Man and a piano for everyone to enjoy. And, if you're looking for a cozy evening, the front yard has an inviting fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs perfect for roasting hot dogs and marshmallows.
Located just minutes from the stunning scenery and activities of New River Gorge National Park & Preserve, and only four minutes away from Hawks Nest State Park, Gateway House is the perfect base for your vacation. All areas except the garage are accessible to guests, but just ask if you need extra storage space. A 30 amp outlet is available for RV/camper electrical hookup.
We welcome well-behaved dogs (non-aggressive breeds) at the house. We do ask that dogs stay off beds and furniture (we provide a doggy bed) and that guests properly dispose of pet waste. Dogs must be under direct supervision of owners, and not left alone at the house uncrated. We provide bowls for food and water, but guests must bring dog food.

Summary: The property was very clean, kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. Kitchen appliances were brand new. Bathrooms had plenty of towels and soap. I was very impressed with this property and would rent it again! Also great location to several trails.

Summary: We really liked our stay. The property appeared to very recently completely refurbished with a lot of attention to detail. My kids really loved all the LED butterflies in their room. There were brand-new games, a pac man game station and the bunk bed was very comfy. The living room couch was brand new as well. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is a big Webber grill outside. It is reasonably close to a lot of places. Communication with the host was excellent.

Summary: I was very happy with the cleanliness of the property. I have had some bad experiences in the past. Had an issue and although it couldn't be corrected at the time, the owner was very responsive. It was a short stay to meet up with family at a halfway point. The Gorge was beautiful and autumn would be even better!
