Our home is located one block off US 41 on a quiet street. It is one of the oldest houses in Calumet. Built around 1875. Very close to local historical sites, grocery stores, new upscale coffee shops and restaurants. Centrally located between Michigan Tech and Copper Harbor bike trails. Beautiful Lake Superior is approximately 5 1/2 miles away with access to Waterworks Township park McLain State Park Mouth of the Gratiot.
Fully stocked kitchen, Queen memory foam bed with fresh linens, new full size bed with fresh linens in walk thru bedroom. Fresh towels shampoo conditioner. Washer/Dryer
Wake up to fresh coffee.

Summary: It's our 2nd time staying at this little house and we enjoy it. The house is very clean, has some really thoughtful extra touches, and is very cozy! It was the perfect place just to spend some time together as a family with our MTU student. It was close enough that we could meet up with him after his classes and drive him back to campus after dinner.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay! The home was amazingly clean and nice and warm when we arrived. The extras (extra ttissue, trash bags, plenty of dish soap and hand soap, toiletries, microwave popcorn) were surprisingly and most definitely appreciated as these things are not typical of a rental. The home is in the perfect location to snowmobile the beautiful Keweenaw! Trail access is only a few blocks away. We 100% recommend this home!

Summary: We rented this house when we took our son up to MI Tech. Great location. About 15-20 minutes from the college. The owner was great to work with. Perfect for what we needed for the week.

Summary: My flight to the area was canceled during a winter storm, and Laura went above and beyond for me. She looked into alternate flights and possible ways for me to get to the area. Once I arrived, she checked in with me to make sure I had everything I needed. Wonderful and thoughtful host. If your visit is during the winter months, have no worries about snow removal. It will be taken care of for you! Highly recommend the property.

Summary: Laura was an excellent host who was very helpful and timely in communicating with us. We enjoyed this very clean property as a home base for a weekend visiting our MTU student and exploring the area. As stated in other reviews, the house is older, with an endearing pitch to the dining room floor and a steep staircase that makes you wonder who else lived here a hundred years ago. Our bed linens were the softest we’ve ever had and the bathroom had lots of thoughtful touches for things one might have forgotten to bring, like Q tips and a hair dryer. The coffee and accessories were a nice touch in the kitchen.

Summary: We never knew Calumet was such an interesting little town! Such interesting history and really cool old buildings. The house was super clean and met all our needs! Bedding even smelled good! Great super fast responses from owner when we had an issue with the toaster…new one provided same day! Smart TV so you can login to all your own TV apps. We would visit again in a heartbeat!
