Positive: The room was simple but clean and well kept. It was nice having a private balcony as well as some communal areas within the hotel. The breakfast had a variety of food and was filling. The staff went above and beyond! They provided a secure location to store our bicycles, offered a thermos of hot water so we could make our own coffee later in the day, and gave us some tips for route planning. We also appreciated having the beach and a variety of restaurants within walking distance.

Positive: The hotel owner was the loveliest person. He was friendly, always down for a chat (even through google translate) and took us for a tour of the town on our first day and recommended things to do. The breakfast was also very yummy.

Positive: Lovely family run hotel close to the beaches, restaurants and walkways. The owner was a lovely man who genuinely couldn’t do enough for you.

Negative: The hallways show a bit of aging but it adds to the atmosphere. Nothing to complain about.

The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, exactly as shown in the photos. The staff were friendly, polite, and always ready to help – they made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, with plenty of options and quick service. The elevator worked perfectly, and the overall atmosphere in the hotel was calm, cozy, and relaxing. The value for money is excellent – you get comfort, cleanliness, and great service at a fair price. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Perfect choice for both short and longer visits!

Positive: Gelibolu Hotel was a wonderful experience. The manager went out of his way to look after me. His advice on the local attractions was spot on. I was extremely grateful for his guidance on the best way to travel to the Gallipoli battlefield. I felt like l had developed a new friendship that wasn’t based on what he could get out of me. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I’m more than happy to recommend staying at the Gelibolu Hotel to other travellers.
