Summary: The food was great, the room was clean and had character, and the stay was overall a great time! The staff were very kind and accomodating.

Summary: So we were warned that the elevator would only be available when an operator was available which ended up be very sketchy. Had to carry our suitcases down from 4 th floor upon leaving as no one around. The bathroom sink was dirty…. Had hair in it, so obviously not cleaned. The bed linens were nearly threadbare! Could see right through them. Only one large towel when we informed there were two of us checking in. No thermostat, so we were cold in the night with no way to fix it ……

Summary: This is an old hotel full of charm. The place was clean, cozy and the staff was fantastic. The room we had did not have a fridge but an ice bucket was provided. The food in the restaurant was delicious too. Parking was convenient as was the location.

Summary: The room was spacious & very clean. I appreciated the spacious closet & the few antique furnishings that fit with the age of the historic building. Traffic was loud at times, particularly with the motorcycles whose motors were (needlessly) revved while at the stoplight. The room was reasonably priced. The only small issue was the shower faucet handle came off because of a missing set screw. All in all, I will consider staying at the hotel again.

Summary: The rooms on the website seem okay. But they are dated and stuffy. There is a cleaning lady in the morning, then you need to ask the host for the restaurant to check you in or operate the elevator. There is only a box fan for ventilation. Parking is an issue. There is no night clerk after the restaurant closes there is no staff at all. There is hot water it just takes 25 minutes to get to the shower head. Second night in the hotel a 4' long slab of plaster feel from the ceiling at 4:15 am. Maybe if you drink a lot in the bar the room is convenient for sleeping it off. I would not otherwise recommend going to this hotel. It is a neat old building though.

Summary: Room was on exterior walls and was very drafty and cold at times. For those looking to stay here there are a few things you should consider 1) The elevator only works when a hotel employee is around - which are limited in hours. As a result if you need help with luggage, you may be on your own. 2) you cannot regulate the temperature in your room. It is a central system. 3) The hotel staff is often not there. Think of it as you are renting a room. They are around in the evenings, but that's it. And if the weather is bad or the restaurant is closed, it's unlikely anyone will be around.

Summary: The room was small but clean. Cozy bed and breakfast style hotel. Close to many amenities. They had a restaurant and bar area for dinner.

Summary: It was a historic hotel. Loved the atmosphere and everyone was great. Had dinner at the restaurant which was delicious. Then we walked across the street to the Murphy theatre for a great show.

Summary: Yes, all was fine except it's an old hotel and so is the plumbing. Shower water was very sporadic hot and cold, faucet dropped scalding hot. Probably won't return for that reason.
