Our rich Italian bar design offers exciting and creative cocktails, an extensive wine and liquor selection. Positive: Beautiful rooms and very peaceful getaway! Love the history of the place and the suite was very enjoyable. Loved the high ceilings and large windows. The kitchen was convenient too! Beautiful grounds to walk around.
Negative: Small TV and sound quality wasn't great. Maybe more pictures and modern decor, large, modern TV would be nice.

Negative: Missing stove in our room so changed room. Dated mediocre room. Kitchen was a joke. Some of the front desk staff not helpful and obviously didn’t care- not professional.
Summary: Good area, nice grounds but the inside was disappointing especially for the money

Positive: Lovely rooms with a beautiful view. Bed, linens and pillows were all extremely comfortable. Great shower. Full kitchen too. Nice breakfast basket in the morning.

Positive: Very expensive, room was large but not enough beds for family of 5 my son had to sleep on the couch. Paid a lot of money a night and nothing is included. no balcony or activities or things for kids to do. Mostly for older crowd but rooms were large.
Negative: price and that there is nothing to do on property if you have kids.
Summary: Pretty place, very nice staff just not family friendly hotel more for couples

Positive: A beautiful location in an old mansion (monastery at one point). We enjoyed looking out over the lake and the property has some nice walking areas, including down to their boat shed. Plus a very good restaurant. And the area is truly stunning including the various vineyards to taste at.
Negative: Be careful which rooms you get if you have any disability - ours was up a 1 1/2 flights of stairs which was difficult given my husband had hurt his hip. So it was a real climb.
Summary: Lovely spot. Great views. Good restaurant.
