Positive: Staff was very helpful and friendly, room spacious and clean.

Negative: Grindavík is a ghost town close to a fissure with a lot of warning signs guiding you out on an escape route out of the city - made is feel a little uneasy. Only two open restaurants and a tiny supermarket

Positive: We only stayed one night. After visiting the Blue Lagoon, I wanted to see a bit of Grindavík. The hotel is clean and our room was a good size. The water smells of sulfur. It's nothing dramatic, but bring water to drink! Everything was fine and check-in and check-out were super smooth.
