Summary: We spent 3 nights here during Fall Festival. It was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The location was perfect - a short walk to a couple restaurants but not in the middle of all the Sister Bay festival traffic. Although we've been coming to Door for many years - Darla gave us some helpful advice on when to avoid the major crowds over the Festival weekend. Only thing that was a little disappointing was no fire allowed in the fireplace. I get it, it can make a mess and if guests don't know how to work a flue it could be a problem. But that was a small thing - really great stay overall!

Summary: I didn't know much about Door County, but couldn't have chosen a better place if I would have spent a month investigating. No bumper-to-bumper traffic or huge crowds, but you're minutes away from all the wonderful attractions in Door County. Very comfortable and relaxing. Neat places steps away. Mink Basin is remarkable with great food and serving neat Wisconsin beers. There's also a nice coffee shop and grocery store steps away. Also a nice park a few minutes away. Couldn't have been better. If this weren't available if we get to come back, I would alter our plans for when it is available.
