Summary: A lovely property in a quiet rural location. If you want to get away from it all and relax and drink wine,this is the place for you. The owner Jean Paul Duval who also owns the surrounding vineyard is one of lifes true gentlemen. It was an absolute pleasure to spend time in this Gite.

Summary: Property is a converted farm building in a lovely location . It is situated among vines in the owners vineyard. The gite is very modern inside . Due to the thickness of the walls, it is also comfortably cool inside, we visited in July and was around 30 degrees outside! . It is very well equipped, with everything you will need, including large fridge freezer, full oven, washing machine, all cooking utensils. You will require to take your own bed linen and towels. Also provided is outdoor table and chairs and deck chairs. It is a very quiet, peaceful locatiion, however the village is only about 5 mins walk away, there is a shop/bar which has essentials. A huge hypermarket is available in Bourgueil about 10 mins drive. There is also a large market here on a Tuesday. Jean Paul is very pleasant and helpful , he met us to show us around on arrival and then had no hesitation in coming to help if required( in our case with the internet!) Unfortunately we do not speak a lot of French and he similarly no English. But we managed to make ourselves understood ! Had an amazing week here, lots to visit nearby, daily markets in different places, many Châteaux, wine tasting and lovely towns and villages to explore. This gite is an ideal base, and a lovely place to return to each evening to watch the sunset.
