Positive: We loved the tranquillity of this lovely b&b. The charming owners, Kevin & Rémy, have created a really special place to stay and totally relax. The decor is very stylish, understated luxury. We were delighted with our room and private terrace overlooking the pool and courtyard garden. There are quiet places to sit within the garden, perfect for reading with a glass of wine. On Saturday evening, we had supper together with the 3 other couples staying there, a simple but delicious meal prepared by our hosts, together with wine which helped the conversation flow in spite of language difficulties! We very much enjoyed our continental breakfast, especially the homemade yogurt, jams and cake. This b&b is exceptional and we highly recommend it.
Negative: We found nothing to criticise about the b&b, it's lovely. Just a warning that if you are staying over a weekend, it is hard to find a restaurant open for dinner on Sunday evening.

Positive: A spacious room, good sized bathroom with a very good shower. Peaceful setting, just birds singing! The hosts Remy & Kevin could not have been more attentive, always on hand to answer questions, and very helpful. This is a very large, solid old farmhouse that they bought and developed a couple of years ago and then furnished with a keen eye on design. The pool isn't very big but there's plenty of space around it and in the surrounding lawns and garden areas to relax in the shade of one of the many trees.
Summary: A peaceful and comfortable chambre d'hote from which to visit local chateaux, then relax!

Positive: Remy and Kevin have done an amazing job on this place . It is so stylish. It was exceptionally hot when we were there 38? And they went and bought a fan for us. They are wonderful hosts . There is no restaurant nearby (walking) but Remy is a great cook . Don’t forget to order 2 days ahead ! Breakfast is wonderful including homemade yogurt and jams . Chinon is lovely and only 15min drive . Cycling is excellent nearby and bike hire at 6km . Our hosts were full of advice and recommendations 😍

Positive: The lodging and its gardens were really beautiful and well kept. Also the spot is excellent for nature lovers and close to several of the famous sites in the area. The owners were really polite and willing to guide you so that you make the best of the time in the area. Really nice and generous breakfast with fresh bred and croissants, home made cake, yoghurt and jams. Strongly recommend to stay in this part of the Loire valley. Nature is magnificent and the lodging is really elegant and totally harmonised with the surroundings. Last but not least in abot 100m. you can be at the river and in the woods which is really amazing.
Negative: Unfortunately we occupied the only room with the toilet just out of the room - literally one step away - but stll out of the room which was an inconvenience.

Positive: The hosts are very friendly and introduced the guests to each other at the breakfast table which makes the atmosphere nice and friendly. The breakfast should perhaps be arranged as seperate sets when different rooms eat breakfast at the same table. This was done the second day, but not the first day. Since we are three people, we feel we are taking the food that belongs to the other rooms. The garden is beautiful. The parking is in the compound. Everything else is perfect. The hosts are lovely people.

Positive: We absolutely loved our stay here! The guest house was so clean, styled beautifully & the hosts made the whole experience! Would highly recommend to anyone coming to stay in this area. Close drive to Chinon, Samur, Tours and even walking distance to the sleeping beauty castle and right on the Loire river. It was perfect!
