Positive: Amazing place with an amazing owner! Great localization with Barbary falcon and Levaillan’t’s woodpecker around + many other species of birds. We felt very welcome here. The rooms and food were also great. Nothing to complain about!

Positive: Nice and quiet place in the heart of the mountain. It’s a very peaceful village. The hotel owner and his family were very kind and attentive. The bathroom had hot water, and the room was warm which we needed during the cold winter nights. Also, having 3 meals per day cooked and prepared was a lovely experience. We left a little gift for the hotel children in the room when we checked out. Interesting experience for sure.

Negative: The pricing is too much, given there is not much to do nearby and the roads are still under construction. Without a car, it is almost impossible to leave the hotel for long, as it’s a vertical climb up to the main road. Be aware if you bring a car that Google Maps might take you down the wrong road, which it did to us. We booked to go hiking and do snow things, as weather reports said snow was coming. That was not the case (not the hotels fault, just saying), but without those things, we didn’t have much to do. Moreover, the description is misleading. It says that ski information and ski equipment is available in the description (checked again before posting this comment), but when we arrived, the hotel owner seemed confused by what we were asking about, despite it being in the description online. Also, I do not know which rooms had a TV because ours did not - the description says all rooms have a TV, for example. Therefore, the booking description is not fully true. Lastly, the food was delicious but not very well portioned out. For example, in a tagine for 2 people there was only 1 tiny piece of chicken to share + veggies. I think for 2 people, it should have 2 normal-sized chicken thighs or legs. For 3 people, 3…. Etc. The breakfast didn’t have enough to it, either, as it was mostly sweet breads. I suggest adding an omelet to balance out the meal. I can tell the people are working hard to make this a good place, as the people were lovely, so I say all this with kindness. However, it needs improvement still, and guests should be aware. Lastly, the room we booked was a bit overcrowded. I understand maximizing space but with 4 beds, there was too much stuff in 1 room.
