Positive: My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights and couldn’t have been happier. The interior is authentic and cozy, and everything was spotless. We stayed in the Toubkal Suite with a small balcony and separate sitting area—very comfortable, with underfloor heating, a great shower and a water kettle. The rooftop terrace (guests only) is a real highlight, with beautiful views over the valley. Food is simple but good: warm Moroccan bread for breakfast and tajine for dinner. There are no real restaurant alternatives in town (we tried :-)), so we recommend eating at the hotel. Imlil is an authentic Berber village at the foot of Mt. Toubkal (national park). The hotel arranged a great guide for us for two days. We could not do strenuous hikes so we explored the village(s) in the valley by foot (4 hours hiking per day) Mohamed was a great guide and he taught us so much about life here. His English was very good. We even got to see his house and meet his wife. The staff at the hotel is very friendly and helpful. Thank you Hannah and the rest of the team. Omar, the owner, can organize everything from transfers to excursions. As two women traveling alone, we felt completely safe and well taken care of throughout our stay.

Positive: Amazing location, very clean and beautiful rooms, and super friendly staff who provided a warm welcome and excellent service throughout. The main highlight is the food! By far the best Tajin we had during our time in Morocco and very good value for money.

Positive: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and kept to a very good standard, even the bathroom had heated floors. The whole Riad was tastefully decorated and done so recently so it felt very fresh. The view from our room was excellent of the Atlas mountains, the garden outside the Riad was rich with lovely cherry trees too. The traditional breakfast was delicious and the dinner was reasonably priced. Management was also very helpful in booking us a tour guide for the hike as well as helping us find transport back to Marrakech for a reasonable price.

Positive: Best place we stayed in Morocco! So much thought and care were put into designing the hotel and rooms by Omar. The food was amazing! The lamb tagine was hands down the best we had - with very rich flavour. And the breakfast was also a cut above everywhere else we stayed - upscale / twist on a traditional Moroccan breakfast. Also Omar helped organise a cake and candles in our room to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Also great connection to hiking routes - we walked to the start or the trail :)

Positive: The Riad Berber Towers are a hidden gem in the High Atlas Mountains. Omar has built a beautiful property. He and his staff are incredibly welcoming and this was by far the best place we stayed during our 12 days in Morocco. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, the hot water plentiful and most importantly it was clean, clean clean!!! Oh, I almost forgot…heated floors in both the room and the bathroom. Beyond the room, the food was outstanding. If this inn was a standalone restaurant, I would go there just for the food - incredible soups and tajines far better than any restaurant we experienced. If this wasn’t enough, Omar is a former tour guide and has a wealth of knowledge related to local hikes and all locations in Morocco. He has contacts throughout the country and is willing to answer any questions you may have. If you’re going to Imlil, look no further, you’ve found your place - quality and value rolled into one. If you’re not planning a visit to Imlil, add it to your list and stay here!

Positive: This was our best experience in Morocco. The rooms and hotel are beautiful and clean (my boyfriend is a bit of a maniac when it comes to cleaning). Omar takes great care of us. He showed us where to hike, gave us picnics, prepared tea for when we came back. And the food was delicious and healthy, so much that we stayed for dinner the 3 days. It was also very quiet at night. We truly recommend this place.

Positive: I wondered how an establishment could get solid 10 reviews, but on arrival I discovered why - everything is perfect. We arrived on a cold December day and it was so great to find such a cosy warm room, with charming balcony and view of mountains, and really toasty bathroom with heated floor. Omar, our host, brought mint tea and snacks to our room, and when asked whether he’d be able to fill my hot water bottle in the night, pointed to the kettle. I knew our 3 day stay would be a good one and that we could, even if we got cold walking in the beautiful mountains, return to a warm and welcoming base. That wasn’t all, we discovered the evening meals were delicious, varied and plentiful as were the breakfasts, and to boot Omar chucked in a simple but adequate picnic for our lunch, without any even being asked - it was just what we wanted. What I like most about Omar, is that he saw to our every need without pushing anything on us. If I or my daughter visit Imlil again, we would definitely stay at Berber Towers.

Negative: Can't think of anything that could have been better - perhaps a backgammon set.

Summary: Absolutely wonderful, thank you.
