Positive: It’s in a lovely area, not far from several good places to visit. The house was in good condition, clean and fresh, supplied with decent kitchen ware and bedding. The seating area at the bottom of the property was a good place to be at the end of the day, away from the road and well sheltered. It was useful to be able to park two cars off the road and have an enclosed space beside the house.
Negative: The bathroom was very cramped, even for an average height person, with a steeply sloping ceiling that made getting in and out of the bath awkward and it was impossible to stand (in the bath) for a shower. The access with an outward opening door up two steps off the main staircase was not straightforward. The living area was naturally very dark with small windows and would be improved with more or brighter lights, especially in the middle of the room.
Summary: An enjoyable few days despite a couple of drawbacks.

Positive: Great location and parking. Fab enclosed area for the dog. All amenities in easy reach. Very friendly owners. Nice kitchen utilising every space.
Negative: It was quite dark inside and the bathroom is tight. It doesn’t help that Booking.com have it listed with a shower and a microwave……it has neither. Beds were soft, but comfy. Strange set up with the TV at the dinning table and not the sofa?
Summary: Perfect location, lovely small cottage with all local amenities.

Positive: The place was wonderful. The property has been renovated to a good standard and has kept the country cottage feel. Although minimal space in the kitchen and bathroom, the charm of the property outshone that. The area out the back is an added bonus, where you can sit out and relax after a day visiting the extraordinary area. The hosts left us a welcome pack and folder filled with goodies and information, the most information we've had visiting a property, both home and abroad.
Negative: The only slight negative is the bathroom, as it's a countryside property, the hosts have maximised the space, the best they can, but I would say climbing in and out of the bath requires a certain amount of agility. Otherwise the property is truly wonderful, we will certainly visit again.

Positive: The cottage was absolutely lovely and was perfect with the enclosed garden and parking facilities. Very cosy living room and dining room to relax in the evening.
Negative: The Cottage was lovely as I mentioned but one big issue for us was the main bed. It was too small for the 2 of us, a king size bed would be a better option in there. Also the bed Squeaks ALOT every time we rolled over we would wake up. However, the sofa made up for it, we had a few good naps on there.
Summary: Relaxing and well equipped cottage, everything you need for a short stay.

Positive: A great place to stay. Loved the location and the information about local walks was really helpful - definitely recommend. We brought our own food to cook and we felt that we could still find everything we need in the small kitchen. Would definitely recommend
Negative: Can't really be helped but the bathroom is a little snug - it may just be that I didn't pay full attention to it in the pictures
