Positive: location was good, lots of nature and quiet
Negative: hygiene was very poor. we believe the house and the kitchen havent been cleaned for a long time. everything you touched in the kitchen was greasy so we spent the first few hours cleaning all the equipment - see photos attached. the only things we believe were refreshed were the bed linnen and maybe the rooms were very roughly vaccuumed. we didnt dare watch under the beds or in the corners. the house also smells mold and humid. its a bit sad because the location is fantastic, its a nice house with potential and the people are definitely friendly but this kind of lack of hygiene is really not acceptable for the price paid. correction, for any price paid the absolute minimum should be hygiene.

Negative: The cottage is in need to a deep clean and some basic maintenance. Internet connection is non-existent.
Summary: Lovely remote setting with lots of wildlife to watch. Property itself whilst homely, has room for improvement.

Positive: The location is stunning, rooms very comfortable - my daughter loved the mural in the single room! Whole cottage was very clean, well stocked kitchen and really warm with lots of hot water. The fruit and welcome note was a nice touch and all the leaflets detailing the walks was incredibly useful.
Negative: Beds very comfy but maybe consider going up a size in duvet.
Summary: Stunning location, a truly special place to unwind and enjoy the Trossachs

Positive: The location is amazing! The view, walking routes , quietness, nature everywhere! The house is cosy, and the wood-burner was a solid favourite after the big walks. We were there with our always-hungry teens and I really liked the well-equipped kitchen. The crockpot made my days easier after our big outings. We are planning to return and would recommend the cottage to anyone.

Positive: Really enjoyed the cottage - was a perfect base for my friends and I to relax following our walking trips. Comforting, quiet, and a nice getaway! Spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we required for cooking/cleaning.
Negative: Very accurate to say that the wifi is limited lol (internet did not really work/would practically be unusable). No signal for phones either. Just didn't expect it to be *that* limited, but not so much of an issue as we didn't really require it.
