Fully equipped, two identical log cabins sit side by side just steps away from the infamous Madison River. Each cabin has it's own private entrance, loft bedroom with queen bed and an additional comfy bed hides away in the living room couch. The property is conveniently located close to Ennis, Montana, the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park, many lakes such as Cliff and Wade Lakes, Quake and Hebgen Lakes and Henry's Lake in Island Park, Idaho. Many opportunities to explore the outdoors within a 5-10 minute drive. Also, located within walking distance to the Grizzly Bar & Grill for delicious dining in the heart of the South Madison Valley. Summary: The pictures on the listing gave the impression you could walk outside and right up to the river, however there is a decent hill right there. Other than that the listing was very accurate. This cabin was the perfect getaway spot for my husband and I to spend the week relaxing and exploring the river as well as yellowstone national park and the grand tetons! We would both recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to be on the water and wanting to have a close access place to fish! The hosts were extremely nice and gave great suggestions!

Summary: Return trip and just as great as we remembered. Views of river while grilling out back, late night star gazing around fire pit, hooting owls late night, and nearby fishing and hiking filled our days. Warm and cozy cabin for a couple and convenient location. Hosts are lovely and accommodating. Overall wonderful experience.

Summary: Our host were amazing, we had a random thunderstorm go through that made our electricity go out in the area & they called us right away to let us know and asked if we needed anything,even offered to bring us food/pizza. Our cabin was perfect, close to everything we we're doing and right on the Madison River. The best part of our day was coming home from our daily activity and sitting on the front porch watching and listening to the river, so relaxing! Will definitely be back!
