Negative: AC had ticking sound that owner fixed after 4 days ( out of 7 that we spend ). Sound was so annoying as its ticking several times in second, non stop, 24/7. Fridge ( probably motor ) had high pitch sound from time to time, at least 10 times per hour. You need to stand up, open fridge door and close and will stop. Sometimes just for a minute sometimes for a 10 minute and then repeat. During night was so annoying that we closed door in order to sleep. Never fixed in 7 days. On our last night internet died. We communicated with owner but as said didn’t do much except that she is sorry. That doesn’t help.
Summary: Good location, close to beach, not so good owner. Definitely will come back to Aruba but never to this place to stay. I

Positive: Beautiful, safe and well maintained property! Very close proximity (about 5-10 minutes driving) to many restaurants and shops. Perfectly off the beaten path so you don’t feel amongst the crowds. Highly recommend!

Positive: Although there was a restaurant on-site (Salinas), we chose to eat from other local eateries. I cannot say enough about this rental. It was in an excellent, and very safe location. It was also within a 5-10 minute drive from most places we visited while in Aruba. Even though this was our first time on this "Happy Little Island", it certainly will not be our last. The property was ready when we arrived, it was clean and very welcoming! We had a beautiful view from our balcony, and I certainly appreciated all the room darkening/tinting features to help keep the space cool. Being able to cook some of our own meals was also refreshing and a welcome surprise. I will most definitely work with this property owner again. If you are visiting Aruba, a private condo/townhouse/home in Gold Coast (Aurum Collection) is the way to go.
Negative: Property has no elevator. I know it's only one flight but I'm an old lady. After a day horseback riding and beating waves, it would have been icing on the cake: :) But really, the property and location were top-notch!
