Gold Coast Tropical Hideaway | Apartment in Gaven

Gold Coast Tropical Acreage hideaway is on an acre of land, (4000 sq m), you have your own exclusive driveway, parking on the bitumen sodriveway under a large shade sail, to your own private entrance. There are no steps, wheelchair accessible. The accommodation is on the ground level of our home. We, the owners live upstairs, with no internal connection. We come and go via another driveway and entrance in another street.
The price shown is for 2 guests sharing either the master bedroom (king bed) or the 2nd bedroom with 3 single beds any additional guests need to be put into the “extras” and will be charged accordingly. To get the correct price for your stay please enter the total number of guests and nights.
WE HAVE A STRICT NO PARTY OR EVENTS POLICY WHICH INCLUDES LOUD MUSIC OR NOISE AT ANYTIME- No bucks nights, hens nights, large family gatherings, parties, girls nights, or roudy guests.
A maximum of 7 guests at any time, all guests must complete registration form.
Any non paying/registered guests will be asked to leave immediately.
In peak holiday times - Christmas and New year's we have a minimum of 4 paying guests and 7 nights minimum.
The price shown is for 2 adults per night in one room, any additional persons will be charged accordingly, please see charges for extra adults and children. Only beds/bedrooms booked are available to guests, beds/rooms not booked will be locked off and unavailable to guests.
Children aged 0 - 2 are free if using existing bedding in the same room as parents.
Children are aged 2 - 12 years are charged as extra guests.
The accommodation has 2 bedrooms:-
Bedroom 1: king size bed
The master bedroom/ensuite - 40" TV, lots of storage space, the ensuite is large with a walk in shower.
Ensuite: There is an initial supply of toilet paper for your use. Towels are supplied.
Bedroom 2: 3 single beds
32" TV, fan, wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Bedroom 3: 2 single beds and large bench space.
There is a large family bathroom with walk in shower. There is initial supply of toilet paper for your use.
All towels and linen are supplied including pool towels.
The open plan dining/kitchen/lounge, the kitchen is fully self contained. Dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, gas stove with oven.
There is a large dining table and chairs, the lounge room has a 60" TV.
Enjoy the comfort of the black leather lounge, and the cinema style lounge with chaise.
Outside:-
Laundry area: a commercial washing machine and clothes line available for your use, initial supply of powder is provided.
Please note that the washing machine is wired to off peak, and may not work during peak times.
Covered front area: parking under a shade sail and a seating area with bbq near the front doors.
Pool cabana:- you can sit and relax, enjoy the large lounge and dining area, overlooking the pool, enjoy a quiet drink, or dinner with the fairy lights on or just relax and watch the kids while they swim.
The pool is very deep in the middle, it is very private and welcoming.
Our space is great for families as we are so close to all the Gold Coast has to offer.
Smoking is permitted away from the front doors, or at the dining table in the pool cabana, not on any of the outside lounges which includes the pool cabana lounges.
Please be respectful of our neighbours and your surroundings, keep noise to a minimum between 10pm and 7.00am. The pool is not available for use outside the hours of 9.30pm - 7.30am.
The pool and pool cabana are closed during the winter months from April to October and not available for use.
GARDEN: The vegetable and fruit garden below the accommodation is strictly off limits. This area is not available for guests use. This is the owner's private property.
The Theme parks - Paradise Country is 6kms, Wet 'n' Wild, Movie World and Top Golf are 5kms away, Dreamworld is 10kms, Sea World is 9 kms.
Broadwater Parklands at Southport - 15 mins or 9.5 kms, is a wonderful destination for families, open spaces, water play area for little children - with lifeguards, netted swimming area (still water) lots of events, boat ramp, great kids' playground.
Surfers Paradise beach is 20 mins or 14km, Burleigh Heads is another beautiful beach which is about 22-25 mins drive or 24km.
We are close to major shopping centre's:-
Westfield Helensvale - 4km 7 mins
Harbour Town - Biggera Waters- great for outlet shopping 7.5km approx 13 mins
Robina Town Centre Robina - 17km 17 mins
Pacific Fair Broadbeach - 25 mins 18 kms
Gold Coast University Hospital, Gold Coast Private Hospital and Griffith University are only 4.5kms away.
We do recommend a car, we are in an acreage suburban area, public transport is nearby, the light rail which is a 15 minute walk, or a short 1.2km drive. This is an easy way to get you to Surfers Paradise, but your own vehicle gives you the freedom to explore all the Coast has to offer. The light rail also connects to the main rail line at Helensvale which connects to Brisbane.
The property is very secure, with security screens on all windows, security screen doors, which means you can leave the doors locked open at night in summer to allow more ventilation. There is no air conditioning, but the area is very cool as it is downstairs under the main house, set into a hill, is fully tiled, with lots of doors and windows that allow good ventilation. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan, and the main areas have pedestal fans.
After a busy day exploring the Coast or visiting the Theme parks, this is a little oasis to come home to, quiet, relaxing and very private.
We have lived on the Coast for over 30 years and know lots of places that are great to explore, we are also very close to the green behind the gold, the beautiful hinterland.
We live upstairs, we have our own driveway and entrance. We have dogs who live upstairs, and are confined to our deck.
We won't invade your privacy; we understand how important it is to relax and how precious holidays are but saying that we are here if you need us or want to know anything.
The wildlife here is amazing including - cockatoos, rainbow lorikeets, corellas, and kookaburras.
