Two Quiet Cabins, 3 Beds, 2 Bath, incredible views, perfect for a vacation or retreat.
The space
Built on solid granite, these cabins sit upon the top of a mountain! As far as you can see, you can hike, or just soak up the majesty from the all-windows sunroom. Full kitchen, laundry, wood stove and pellet stove present, year-round outdoor hot tub, picnic tables, and fire pit. The heated sidewalk allows for no snowy worries and easy access to cabins.
You won't hear any cars, but you will still have cell service. 3gig/day of WiFi included with your visit.
Close to Golden Gate Canyon State Park and Central City/Blackhawk. Walk down to the property pond or hike around all 93 acres!
Two cabins:
The main cabin has 1 bedroom and a loft (sleeps 4), full kitchen, living room and bathroom. The kitchen is well supplied with cooking equipment, dishes flatware, coffee maker, and Keurig. The second cabin is two parts with separate entrances. The upper part of the cabin is a game room with a blow up mattress that sleeps 2. The lower part of the cabin is a one bedroom (sleeps 2), bathroom and laundry. All beds have European down comforters. The master has a cool top Tempur-Pedic mattress and the others are high quality pillowtop mattresses.

You will have full access to both cabins and all 93 acres of land!
Other things to note
During a snowfall, the roads are regularly plowed. The heated sidewalk up to the cabin allows for worry free access.

Summary: My husband and I staying in this cozy cabin as part of our honeymoon trip!! The views from this cabin is spectacular with being on top of the mountains especially right from the hot tub on the deck!!

Summary: This is an amazing location! With stunning mountain views and the .silence of nature, we were in our happy place. The overall location was perfect for our Red Rocks Adventure. With nightly hot tub sunsets and star viewing it really was the "Best of All Worlds" !

Summary: James cabin property was absolutely amazing. The views were gorgeous from the sunroom and balcony. Hot tub was an added bonus. The home is close enough to Denver to be easy to get to, but in the perfect area to still be secluded and give you the remote vibe. James was an awesome host and super easy to communicate with. We loved our stay and would recommend to anyone!

Summary: This location is gorgeous. The scenery from the deck and sunroom is amazing. You have everything you need and none of the stuff you don’t. Chipmunks greeted us every morning. The views are breathtaking. You are but 30-45 minutes from several beautiful downtown areas such as Golden, Idaho Springs, and Denver. Estes Park is only an hour away. Loved our stay here.

Summary: This cabin on top of a ridge was exactly what we wanted to have our small celebration. The two cabins joined by a common deck we nicely stocked and clean. The main cabin had just enough room for everyone without losing that log cabin feel. The best part is the sun room and main deck/hot tub area. Just amazing views and great place to relax. The property itself is just amazing with several picnic tables and seating for outside fun as well as plenty of trails to walk and explore. Overall we loved our stay as it was just what we wanted. Will definitely return.

Summary: The cabin was cute and the surrounding wilderness made for a great rustic retreat. Owner was quick to respond. Only negative is that the cabin was not very clean. Hundreds of dead flies in the upstairs bedroom, grease on the dishes, no top sheets on the beds so you slept beneath the comforter directly, and no paper towels to clean while there. It seemed that the cleaning fee was not being put to use on actual cleaning.

Summary: This is an amazing property. The hiking trails and views are incredible and the hot tub was sparkling clean and so perfect for our stay. The outside picnic table area is also gorgeous. The roads getting to the property are very curvy mountain roads, and it took us about twenty minutes at least to get into Golden from the property so it’s probably not a place you would want to stay at if you were going back and forth a lot. The layout of the cabins also worked for us but is a little unique - the separate “game room” wasn’t really set up for games, and to get to the basement bedroom you have to go outside and around which is a little intimidating in the dark and wouldn’t work for families with young kids in my opinion. But overall the place was clean and the hot tub and view and hiking make it an awesome mountain stay.
