Summary: We had such a nice stay in this beautiful old house with its history and atmosphere. Very large rooms, also the bedrooms, and yet it felt cosy, thanks to the furniture. Good beds! Nice big kitchen, everything in it, for nice meals in the lovely romantic garden. Our dogs had a great time, the garden was completely surrounded, We visited Montresor, in daylight and at night (les nuits solaires), Loches, and had walks in the forest of Loches. Montrichard, and St Aignan with its lovely restaurant les 3 chemins. Also super for vegetarians! Very nice local shop and surroundings, and walks along the river. I recommend this house to anyone who wants to discover the Val d’Indrois! Very good correspondence with the owner Florence, thank you for sharing your beautiful house and thank you Nadia for the very warm welcome with good wine and juice! I would love to come back!

Summary: Eight of us stayed together at the golden presbytery. The house and gardens are excellent, with beautiful chateaus to tour just a short drive away. The castle and grounds at Monstresor are just 2km from the house, and certainly worth a look. We thoroughly enjoyed our week stay, and would certainly visit again in future.

Summary: The house is located in a beautiful little village, next to the village of Montresor (awarded as one of the most beautiful villages in France). The premises are renovated tastefully and still perfect for traveling with kids (we have 3 kids). Florence (owner) and housekeeping Nadia are just lovely and caring. Perfect for visiting this part of the Loire et les Chateaux.

Summary: We had a lovely time here. The property suited our needs, was clean and tidy with excellent facilities. The local lady who helped manage the property, Nadia, was very helpful and helped us with anything we needed. I would have no hesitation returning if we chose to holiday in that region again.

Summary: My family of five enjoyed a wonder one-week stay at this beautiful property in April of 2015. The house is cavernous and perfect for a family vacation. Villeloin-Coulange is also a very charming small village a short drive from Montresor, and only 20 minutes or so away from the markets and restaurants of Loches. We were extremely impressed with Madame Florence's responsiveness and willingness to accommodate our arrival and departure dates and times, and would also note that her house is tastefully appointed and has every amenity you could ask for. Nadia was also very friendly and helpful upon our arrival as well as the day of our departure. I would strongly recommend this home for anyone looking for a nice holiday in chateau country.
