Featuring three bedrooms plus detached private studio bedroom. Stunning, well equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and gas cooking. Mezzanine A-frame master bedroom with double bed and stain glass windows. Lounge with open fire place. Bathroom with claw foot bath and dual shower heads. Two split systems air con and heater in the downstairs bedrooms and in the kitchen / main area. Outdoor courtyard, great for entertaining. And plenty of room for the kids to run around.
This Nature lovers' paradise backs onto Hardhill Reserve filled with birds, wildflowers and eucalyptus trees.
Perfect private retreat or family friendly getaway.
Local things to do include gold fossicking at the reserve. You can hire a metal detector from the Wedderburn Community House. Bring the canoes and drive 5km to Skinners Flat. Explore the Loddon Trail cycle paths and nature walks. Explore the nearby Melville Caves. And the Aboriginal scar trees at Boort are a must-see.

Summary: It was a very thrilling and entertaining experience for the kids and they really enjoyed the room with the playstation and games. Very fun place to go! There was a lot of activities like cricket which everyone loved and the board games were fun for everyone. It was a very calming location and a nice open space where we can start open fire and cook some food. 10/10, 100% would recommend! For a family!

Summary: Myself and my two fur babies had a wonderful time, we felt right at home relaxed in-front of the wood heater. It was great to have wifi. House was lovely and warm and very quiet ( even thought there are neighbours). Kitchen had everything you could ever need. Beautiful big claw foot bath. Nothing was too much trouble, Liz is a fantastic host. I will definitely be staying there again.

Summary: We loved our stay. The DVD and book collection were fantastic, and the bird watching was excellent! The house was well equipped with everything we needed to make all our own meals. We loved the local town and the walks around the goldfields park out the back of the property.

Summary: Took over 30 minutes to find the key safe and unable to contact the owner and after a 2.5 hour drive this was quite frustrating. Would be good to leave the location of the key safe in the check in process. House could do with a bit of a clean and cobweb removal around the outside but inside was clean, tidy and had everything I needed for my stay. I would book again if I'm back in the area.

Summary: We booked this trip for a break from the city hussle with our dog and absolutely loved it. The house is even nicer and larger than it looks in the photos and the property is in a really great location, backs onto a reserve and is only a 10min walk into town. The town doesn’t have much, but has everything you need, which was exactly what we were after. We had to deal with many delays due to Covid and this was handled with great ease with the owner. The only tiny issue we had was we struggled to find the lock box for the property to check in and the check in details didn’t specify where it was, no big deal, but if you’re booking this property, which you should, contact the owner prior for the location of the lock box. Wonderful stay all in all! Highly recommend.
