Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at the Goodbread Inn. We were in the Gable and Lombard suite, which was very unique jyst like the entire B&B. The hostess Mardja was wonderful. We loved the surrounding area of St. Mary's as well.

Summary: We had a wonderful time at the Goodbread House. This was our first Bed and Breakfast and we loved the experience. The house is historic and charming and the host offer a center je ne sais quoi to the entire experience. When you go say hi to Mardja for us. We will return.

Summary: A very charming B&B, exactly as described and pictured. The proprietor has additional staff as she should so we did not see much of her. For reference, breakfast was delicious each morning we were served a plate with different items: the first morning a berry parfait, a small frittata and a slice of squash bread. The second morning a blueberry bread pudding, two small patty sausages and grapes. Orange juice was offered as well as tea and coffee. It is an old house and as might be expected the temperature is difficult to control precisely. Our only issue was that both nights (in late June) we were quite cold. So be warned to not assume that your lightest bedclothes will keep you warm enough.

Summary: This is our third time staying here! Owner is delightful and goes to every effort to make your stay comfortable. Breakfast is beautifully prepared. You can walk to the Cumberland Island ferry and to restaurants. Owner will facilitate a purchase of lunch to take on the ferry. The house is done in a victorian style. Nice front porch for relaxing.
