Summary: We head to this area every fall. We usually stay at a nearby cabin. We have looked many times at this property when we pass it. Well I can now say it is absolutely gorgeous. Nothing but tranquil sights and sounds. As far as the nearby road goes, it didn't even exist to us. The river is awesome especially having morning coffee on the beautiful back deck.Thank you Theresa

Summary: The property was amazing. It provided a great escape for us. We loved hanging out by the river. The house was clean when we came in and had all the supplies we needed.

Summary: We had an amazing week on this property. We stayed with our two young children and our family visited from Canada. The house was equipped with everything we needed (eg. Lots of towels, pillows, sheets, dishes, oven, grill, dishwasher, washer & dryer, fire pit, garbage bags, etc). The decor in the house was just beautiful and everything was clean. Beds were comfortable. We enjoyed going over to the big rock/“the island”. On our first day, we took a nice nap on that rock. Definitely pack water shoes if you plan on going in the river. We had the option of eating our meals out on that beautiful porch or inside. The kids loved being outside with the flowers, frogs, caterpillars, cocoons and grassy areas. Tops supermarket was close enough to pick up last minutes things. We had a very positive experience with the owners, Teresa responded to all of our questions in a timely manner. We would definitely vacation here again.

Summary: Great family weekend, very relaxing environment. The noise from the road was hardly noticeable and did not bother anyone. There were mosquitos and other bugs as to be expected being by the river. The house is fully equipped and very comfortable. Would love to visit again.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here . Some commented on the road noise but we didn’t see it as any kind of issue. As soon as you cross the tracks you’re on a wonderful piece of property. This is the only home directly on the river between North Creek and North River. The porch was the selling point and it certainly lived up to expectations. We enjoyed the mornings there, left for daytime adventures and returned for the favorite time of day, sitting on the porch in the late afternoon. Inside the kitchen and bathrooms were updated and clean. We were there for a long weekend but we wished we could have stayed longer. We will look into returning again.

Summary: The house is very nice with a wonderful view! Really a good time for relaxing! The only thing that wasn’t so nice was the very busy and noisy road... but everything was good!!

Summary: Everything was as promised, 20 inches of snow where handled in a timely fashion so that access in and out were never impeded. This property had every appliance needed a plates, glasses, silverware etc were more than adaquate. This was my second visit and I will return again.

Summary: This house is the perfect escape from your busy life. The view from the porch is absolutely beautiful. We got to see an eagle and some adorable little deer on the shore across the river. Our kids enjoyed playing in the water and relaxing on the rocks. A fun all day trip is white water river rafting. We will hope to go back to this house in the years to come. It was a great few days!

Summary: Decor was extremely “homey”. The house is comfortable and spacious. Back porch has a great view of the Hudson River. Kitchen was well stocked, and the appliances all work fine. House needs a “ShopVac” so the dead flies and such can be vacuumed up. All and all, great place to stay.
