We are following the protocols laid out by the CDC and using the EPA-approved disinfectants for Hard (non-porous) Surfaces, Soft (Porous) Surfaces and Electronics. We are disinfecting all doorknobs, faucets, remote controls, cabinets, dressers, chairs, tables and we also put disinfectant in the water for cleaning the floors. We are washing linens, towels, bed sheets, etc. are washed with hot water and we are also stocking our home with essential disinfectants and supplies to help you follow the CDC’s guidelines. This a very special cabin built by a master craftsman with logs from our property. It has cathedral ceilings, ceiling fans and AC. It has normal heating system and a wonderful stone fireplace for pleasure. The cabin comes will all the modern amenities. There is WiFi. There is a swimming pond and paddle boat just steps outside the cabin. There is a fire pit. There is a charcoal barbecue grill The cabin is an open great room with a Queen bed, a Queen sofa bed and a day bed that opens into two twin beds. The cabin is great for a couple or a family of 4.
The cabin is only one mile to some great skiing at Gore Mountain, swimming at Minerva Lake or Thirteenth Lake. Whitewater rafting at the Hudson is only a few minutes and shopping and dining at North Creek is only 2 miles from us. Lake George is about 25 minutes.
There is a 4 bedroom Log House across from the pond which can sleep 10 people along with a 2 bedroom guest house that can sleep another 8 people.

Summary: Wonderful quiet location in the woods. The cabin had everything we needed, we brought a laptop to stream videos at night when we were in and the area was great for hiking with the dog. Cell service was spotty all over the area but the cabin had excellent internet/wifi and a landline.

Summary: Had the great luck to find this place on VRBO. A genuine log cabin, thoughtfully renovated with a cooks kitchen and a spacious bathroom . Tons of character, chill vibe, easy to feel at home. Dog friendly and clean !! Literally minutes away from Gote for perfect ski location. And, super responsive, friendly hosts who checked in several times to ensure all was well. We like it so much we are going back next month!

Summary: Lodge was clean with all the expected listed amenities. Bed was comfortable. Loved the fireplace and being able to have a firer after a day of skiing. Super close to Gore, local general stores and restaurants. Perfect location and stay for our trip.

Summary: My husband and I spent 3 days in the cabin over Thanksgiving. It was the perfect getaway location for us. The cabin is secluded without being far from conveniences. We took full advantage of the fireplace.We did some cross country skiing at Garnett Hill. Looking forward to coming back! Hill.
