Welcome to our beautiful house in Ashford Middlesex.
The house is located 2 and a half miles from Heathrow Airport / 22 minutes to Lego land and Windsor castle/ 15 minutes to Thorpe Park.
The train station is a 10 minute walk away providing a 35 minute train ride to central London -trains run twice an hour.
We hope you enjoy your stay! We have personally thought through all of the amenities and hope to provide you with all the comforts of home. The surrounding area has a lot to offer and is sure to make your holiday one of a kind.

Summary: We were pleased with our accomodations. Our host was just a short text away. Eventhough, my husband and I lived in England for 2 years in the mid 70s, some of the appliance were a bit tricky to use. (We had no idea that one of the washing machine cycles took 4 hours!) What we found very helpful in other some vacation rentals we've stayed-in over the years, was a binder with information. For example (Bindertec' web page): -Welcome letter. Keep it short and sweet. Rules for the house. Mention off-limit areas, location of keys, and any tips, such as how to operate the coffee maker, washer and dryer, recycling information and waste management schedule. -Emergency numbers. Local police, fire, and hospital. Include the nearest vet as well, in case they've brought their furry family members. -WiFi password. Think about creating a guest network. -Take out menus. These fit best in a couple of sheet protectors. -Restaurants. List some of your favorites and try to give a variety. -Nearby attractions. Point out museums, hiking trails, and local shops. -Public transportation and Taxi/Uber information. -Check-out procedure. Note where guests can put dirty towels and sheets. ---Tell them how to lock up when they leave. Ask them to turn off all appliances and lights. -Guestbook section. It's nice to end the welcome binder with an area for comments/reviews. That way, you'll have a history to look back on! Thank you :)
