Gorgeous custom built house overlooking Pickwick Lake. This beautiful home is perfect for anybody looking to get away from the chaos of everyday life. It offers something for everybody, from the large wrap around porch, furnished with rocking chairs, a porch swing, and a table to enjoy outside dining, to an awesome fire pit and a hillside playground. With three levels of spacious living, including 5 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and 2 full kitchens, you can invite all your friends to share in the fun.

Boat Access to water- Bring your own boat (there's ample parking at the house) or rent one from the local marina.
There are steps leading down to the cove; they are pretty steep. However, for those who choose to drive, there is also access by automobile.
The house sits on a large private lot with lake access. It offers 2 full kitchens and living areas. There are 5 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms with 11 beds plus a sofa bed in the living room. There is a beautiful wood burning fireplace in the main living area; firewood is provided by the host. On the 1st floor there is a small game room for a little indoor fun.
We know it's important to stay somewhere that welcomes your pets, as well. We love our four legged friends and want to ensure you can share your vacation with yours. We do have a 2 pet limit (if you have more than 2, contact me and we can discuss). We also require a $75 pet fee for each dog. This fee covers normal wear and tear caused by pets. If your pet causes any excessive damage, you will be charged an additional fee.

Summary: This is a beautiful home for family reunion. We had plenty of room and the location was very peaceful and quiet. The walk in the woods to the stream is very relaxing. I would recommend this property for everyone.

Summary: We had our annual family Memorial Day gathering at the Otters’ Den this year and we absolutely loved it. The house was beautiful and clean and we had so much fun on the water and around the campfire. The 2 kitchens came in handy and the wrap around porch was so comfortable to sit on. We can’t wait to come back!

Summary: This home was the perfect landing spot for our families to meet for the holidays. Enough space for our entire group, with room to spare! Split levels to accommodate all age ranges / sleep schedules. A fully stocked kitchen allowing us to cook. Plenty to entertain & easy to navigate nearby areas. Highly recommend! We will likely be back in the future.

Summary: It was extremely clean and well stocked with everything necessary for a weekend . Only thing we had to have was our food. Beautiful place. We all enjoyed every minute of it. I had to practically push them all out Sunday morning. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy it. We all loved it.

Summary: The Otter's Den was the perfect spot for our multi-family retreat. First cousins and our families traveled from OK, IN, and NC to enjoy the wrap around porch, large dining and kitchen area, and the great room for movie nights. Lots of laughs and food and fellowship. Kitchen spaces upstairs and down were fantastic. Clean rooms, fresh linens and towels, and cool interior during 98 plus degree days. Parking was great including room for truck with boat trailer out front. Boat ramp was about a mile down the road - dumped and retrailered boat daily. Kayaks available for a spin and quiet cove and firepit. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing spot - this is it. Thanks Patrick for being responsive and helpful during our stay! Book before we do. . . we look forward to coming back!
